EVE needs more players, not less.

Eve needs more players that interact with the community, not lone wolf style players that treat this like a single player game.

Who do you think hauls stuff around trade hubs, builds stuff etc?

You play the game your way and let him play it his way. He doesn't have to interact with anyone if he doesn't want to. What if he is autistic and physically cant do that?

Just saying mate, let him play the game he wants to play it, not the way you want to play it. He pays for it not you, when you start paying his subscription then you can perhaps tell him what to do.

Remember, there is pretty much zero industry in 0.0, the vast majority of the stuff in game comes from those high sec people you are so happy to blow up.

As I said, "IF" he quits its a loss for the game. Perhaps not the community but a loss none the less.

People like me haul, build and generally do everything the OP does but still are an active part of the community.

People who interact with the community. Otherwise, what's the point of trading and building stuff?

Oh, and also, it's “fewer”, not “less”.

Nah. The vast majority of the stuff comes from industrialists — many of them nullsec alts — who do indeed understand that they're part of a larger universe, and who are generally rather tricky to blow because of that understanding.

Oh, he can play the game how he wants to, but that has led to him losing 8bil and he's the one complaining now.

I agree, hell if I wasnt -7 I would probably be in high sec joining in.

I was just pointing out that if he quits the game because of it then the game loses out.

Making the game more vibrant and the community more harmonious doesn't particularly strike me as “losing out”. P

The game isn't made better by people playing it who hate it. Quite the opposite.

I wouldn't play this game if it was perfectly safe and the OP could have avoided the situation without changing his tactics.

But boy, do you people sure pile on.

Yes I'm new here.

That's a result of the arbitrary limitation on stations in nullsec, the low cost of manufacturing slots and the low risk of research POSes in hisec.

You don't seem to realize that much of this 'hisec industry' is done by nullsec alts that are min-maxing. If game mechanics were changed such that they actually made sense, that is to say, if the endless safety and cheap manufacturing of hisec was nerfed, and the opportunities in null were buffed, this nonsensical industry arrangement would disappear overnight.

Terrible! and so sad! Where is the justice?!

But no worries, just send 4 bil my way and I'll recover every bit of the 8 bil you lost.

Now I'm no fancy head-doctor, but seems to me the OP didn't come here looking for proofreading. I would say he came here looking for sympathy and instead found a swift kick in the arse.

EVE: You did it wrong.

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.
