We operate near Jita. I don't see any reason to pretend like your presence there isn't an issue for us (to some degree...a small one, anyway). But in the grand scheme of things, it's truly irrelevant. You keep posting about how we don't care insinuating that we do...but what you're really doing is crying out for us to care, because deep down you know we really don't. You want us to think you're special; you're looking for validation. You'll be looking for those things for a long time.

it's a weekend-long player event and it has no real long-term repercussions, not because hiseccers are hardy and resilient (christ, they can't even lose 20m barges without wailing like sirens, give me a break) but because the game is designed to prevent any player event from having any real repercussions in hisec

LOL.. He said highsec pvp..

Steps to highsec PVP:

1- Buy very pimp fit vindi..
2- Buy 14 toons that can fly logi and falcons
3- Start 5 nuet toons
4- Tackle with nuet toons, log in vindi pew jf. If anyone comes to its aid log in all the falcons and logi and run to dock.

4a- Make sure no other toons are in corps so if you loose all your logi and falcons no one can prove you are not elite

If it doesn't, then why do they cry about it in the C&P section under the merc threads? Anyway, that was just one example, from one alliance. And it's really not about the ISK. In that same time period, they've killed around 24 ships vs. 500. That was my original point when I posted in this thread.

People can make fun of highsec warfare, but I think in some ways it is more difficult, and they require different tactics and compositions. I think that being good at one doesn't make you good at the other, and I think the reports show that. So I think that when people in null make fun of those that live in highsec, they're being disingenuous.

It's not safe in highsec. It's "safer" but there is a ton of griefing here, and very competent PvP'ers who cause a lot of damage to others. And clearly, not even Goons are immune to it. When they start admitting that instead of complaining or pretending like highsec is some sort of peaceful paradise, then I really wouldn't have any issue at all.
