With the amount of advertising for the election CCP has done this year, I am curious what the turnout will be.

High general turnout would be bad for us; Two step only became strongest candidate because we voted in disproportional numbers, like nullsec voters did. If hisec scrubs turn out, they will drown out everyone else.

Fortunately, this will never happen.

With the drag of the STV election, even with this much advertising, I am betting 2-3% added on tops.

People keep talking about how high sec could shake the election if they would "only" turn out to vote.

In the back of my mind, I keep wondering how many of them are alts from people in other areas of space.

Not many

Look at last years election 57,000 votes, with most of them for Null sec and wormhole space out of 330,000 accounts.

So with the fact that most Null and WH dwellers read forums, these or their corps and most corps try to get their members to vote. It stands to reason there are not actually that many extra people in WH and Null as those 2 make up 25% of the eve population, so about 75,000 accounts.

If Hi-sec ever voted, no one else would stand a chance.

If there was ever a bot candidate, I'm sure a large portion of Hisec would vote ;)

As a small gang WH pewer, I spread my accounts votes amongst the 5 WH Candidates. I'm apathetic, but not *that* apathetic as to have CSM members who have no knowledge of W-Space represent Eve. Would've been happy with Two-Step if he'd continued running for the position, but it wasn't to be.

On the subject of k-space, I have often wondered why the k.

The only thing I can think of that fits is kinder-space Lol
