Can't help myself, here goes.... Sure you haven't got "Harpies" mixed up with "Herpes" there bro? Pirate

On topic, the harpy was my first t2 ship, way back in the day. I spent weeks rolling round Pure Blind upsetting all the ratters with my snirpy. Epic fun times. And I'd favour the harpy over the corm anyday!

I think the consensus is that Harpy > Cormorant due to the fact that Harpy resists are large against long range damage types(kinetic).

Sniper corm can be fit a bunch of different ways. I have been trying (with no extra implants) the
2x sensor booster, 2x magnetic field stabilizer, 2x hybrid locus coordinator version which gets you 154 dps at 95 km.
Also, you can swap a locus for a damage rig: 164 dps at 84 km.

Others like the cap stable version (which will go away with tracking enhancer nerf):
2x sensor booster, 2x tracking enhancer, 2x ccc which gets you 105 dps at 95km, but you can move around the field forever. Hard to justify 50% loss in dps for cap stability though.

what are other good sniper ships? not caldari limited?
I'm looking for a longrange sniper/kiting ship (minmatar/gallente)

In this size, at these ranges, Caldari > Gallente pretty much always. Gallente hulls are optimized for 125mm not 150mm rails. So less than 40km.

Sniper Arty Thrasher is great, but not out to 84 km. (more like 45 km)
