I logged into Jita for about 30 minutes.

I was not impressed by Burn Jita.

I was expecting that goons would be firing on everything that moves.

I saw an Orca sit outside 4-4 for at least 15 minutes and plenty of freighters get away.

The only kills were freighters on auto pilot and that happens every day anyways.

I think ice mining is more entertaining.

Its essentially a short duration non Concord santioned wardec on anyone in Jita.

Like any wardec you either go in prepared to fight or follow the course of target denial till they get bored with it.

They will have numbers and with all that ill gotten loot from market exploits and moon goo I'm sure their losses will be replaced.

That pretty much leaves the best course of action to be target denial.

How sad would they be if they sat all day in Jita with nothing but each other to shoot at?

Yes please continue your interdiction in Jita. Maybe people will get wise and figure out that there are other regional markets they can do their business in.

Besides, the plan has never been to close Jita off from being a market hub. Also if this was successful, you think we don't have Rens/Dodi/Amarr/wherever on our starcharts, too?

IDK... I already wrote that. You're some CSM person with that group right? If what people have been writing across the forums about Burn Jita and the reasons for it isn't true then set the record straight. I am curious too. I am not sure who is mad over what. I am not part of any of it it, no alt, don't know who goons are outside of red thingies on the jita live cam and think it's all kind of funny or typical of EVE's legendary meta. Few things:
No, killing ships does not take any iskies of any amount out of the game, the iskies stays in the pocket of the people who sold the ship in the first place. It does help with the economy by means of circulation though (actually, people killing other people's ships are what drives the economy for the most part).
Goonswarm is an alliance, I am not Goonswarm but people from mine participate as well. So no, it's not "a" alliance.
There can be some "grand" scheme if you know how to make a profit from it, but for most of us, the reasons are quite simple:

  1. We do it because we could.
  2. We love seeing the reactions from pubbies, or you can say, tears.
  3. Tears.
  4. Moar Tears.
  5. Lots of Tears.
  6. Loot.
