Trolling Goons+Burn Jita

So its that time of year, burn jita is in full swing.

If you and your friends want to troll the trolls just log in any and all alts located in jita and the surrounding systems sit in station and take up 1 spot on the server so goons cant log in/out.

You don't even have to be active, just sit in jita AFK in a station all day and know your doing you part to annoy goonswarm.

you do realise they're camping the gates in to jita, from outside of jita. so you're not trolling them at all.

Or you could not be sad and carry on with your life outside of Jita and so not be affected.

This one's a bit over the edge guys.

Locked for breaking... well, pretty much all the rules.

This would work, but they are not just in Jita but also ganking in surrounding systems, so even if Jita gets maxed out, there will still be plenty of ganking to be had.. check the live feed :)

Very true, but how cool would it be to take down their "flagship system" so to speak, and stop them ganking there... Watch the mittani blog about that ;)

To be honest, I don't understand this event. Is this a inhouse celebration of the goon leader being sober for 1 month or what? I shoot random people undockin Jita and I just got raped by the damn concord over and over :/ None else seems to have any outlaw activity there :| I'm really pissed of :/

Personally I'll be doing what I always do and none of it involves going to Jita anyway.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

People can, just log in that 1 alt you use to check jita market and leave it idle all day.. simples

Last night, I avoided Jita because I though it might start early and then logged off, in Perimeter....

there are some other trade hubs to use. You are not forced to use Jita every time.

Yes - Could someone please help me understand this "event"? What are the goals of the ones shooting? Are they getting CONCORDed after shooting? Is there an over-arching plan other than killing freighters?

I think something like this is a good thing in that it takes some ISK/Assets out of the game thereby helping the overall JITA economy, but I do not understand why a corp/alliance would do this.

Thank you very much in advance for anyone that can help explain this to me.

Except it doesn't take ISK out of the game at all, quite the opposite. For every ganked ship, the insurance money is created out of thin air and injected in the economy.

Jita is a whorehouse. Full with bots, scammers and.. goons. If I am a racist? Yes I am.. I take all minmatar pilots as targets. If they need freedom & sh1t, Dodixie is their tradehub. Not sure about these goons whom step up every year and try to fire up a WoW like festivals. I supose Mitan is stil drunk

Thus keeping all that AFK autopiloting freighter traffic stuck on the Perimeter gate while they wait for traffic control. They'll be safe there.
