I had to cancel a mission after trying for hours to find a way of doing this mission to no avail. Can someone explain why there are missions where there are 7 ships that spawn with tracking disrupters that reduce range on even snipers to below 10km. This is stupid how does anyone deal with this. Keeping in mind that this is caused by battleships and not frigates that can be popped easily with drones. Any help for the future is much appreciated thank you,

Pulse lasers had optimal range even on long range ammo reduced to 3-4 km never mind multifrequency. Now dont say use optimal boosters because a 6-15% bonus would do f all here.

Can do this mission in 25 minutes with a t2 fit dominix, one imagines similar with a t2 fit missile boat. Takes a bit longer in a prophecy, but can be done (missile proph better than gunboat prophecy fit for this). Most gunboat battleships can eventually clear the cruisers with sentry or medium drones, and when its just the battleship TDing you, you can actually hit it.

after tieracide is done to battleships there will also be an amarr droneboat battleship.

Navy geddon with sentries can take care of it in case you prefer Amarr.

Problem is im using an apocalypse. So missiles arent so much of a choice for me. Thanks for the other tips.

could try replacing some heatsinks with TE and warp out and try and snipe the TDing ships. I think they can't td from more than 84km away but that's only what I've read.

Beams/Tachyons+Aurrora

Consider changing tracking scripts to optimal scripts also. I have done this mission multiple times since the NPC AI changes and have had only minor difficulties.

Just did 2 in a row last night, as soon as they get within 58KM they jam you up.
trick is to pick them off the field ASAP, they are not triggers.

thats all there is to is, REALLY.

pally = 15 min solo not counting dock and travel times.

Another option for you in the Apoc, is to fit it with mega beams, and a micro jump drive.

Most of them have a TD range limit of around 80km, and the few will TD out to 90km. Just jump to say, 110, start sniping, if they get too close and your TD again, jump away again and repeat.

It would be nice if you did some research before asking this one because honestly, we have one of these threads almost literally every day.
The latest one I've commented in haven't even left first page:

people suggesting he should use a different ship need to stop doing it.

the only valid suggestion is "the last ship alive needs to be the trigger for the next wave."

All ships do not perform equally for all tasks.... nor should they.

Your question has been answered, you're not using the best ship for the job. Setup a second ship for Ewar heavy missions, or simply skip this mission when it comes up. This is how most handle issues like this.

... also true, does not change the fact that certain ships are suited, or not, to some missions.

they do TD way much farther (i got TD'd at 100+ once, warped to a corpmate to halp him and he was sniper), but i didn't saw much changes with my mach, i just need to be a bit closer to pop em, but they pop so fast it barely makes any difference anyway

Haven't tried it, but a good suggestion 'possibly' 4 sentries to focus fire on the TD'ing cruisers and the TD frig in the last (or second to last, don't remember) wave. The thought being that if your ship is TD'ed the sentries will clean up the E-war.

I have been doing it with two boxes for so long I cant be sure if this would work or not.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

I usally skip sanha blockade cause of TD ships. Reinforcement wave 1. and 3. are pure horror for turret ships.

You can try it with beams and a micro jd but you will not become happy with that solution.

Sansha Beasts TD you at a range of 84km.

Your target range must be more than 90km so you have time to lock that Beasts before they´re in range to TD you. With Paly and its horrible scan res its nearly impossible to get all TD ships until first enemy cripples your beam range.

Best workaround for me. I have fitted a 100mn AB and webifier. Try to get in range to a TD ship web it and shoot it + drones on it. Forget medium drones even on a webbed elite cruiser they do miss so often. Use smalls

But best time with pally 35 min.

How do you manage this ? Before paly has locked all TDing cruisers you will be disrupted multiple times. Tried every variation in this mission that want work.

Sansha Beasts are in that waves they TD at 84km.

It doesn't work. Even if you stack up on the sebos, you're not going to volley the BS and elite cruisers that TD. Not even one td off the field. They'll all aggro and td you right after the first shot.
