bot mining set up

I've spotted a 3 account bot mining set up.. been keeping an eye on them.

After studying their behaviour and a little research online, it appears that they are using the Tiny Miner bot.

I got within 1000m of them, targeted them and ship scanned them. It appears 1 mackinaw is set up to mine scordite, the second to mine pyroxeres and the third is an orca sat in pos bubble, presumably boosting.

Both Mackinaws warp out from pos to spots 200km from belts at the same time and both return to pos at the same time. There is no response to targeting, ship scans, local chat or ship bumping (other than warping back to pos when bumped out of mining range.

Is there anyone from CCP that actually take this sort of thing seriously who it's worth reporting to?

There is a report BOT feature in game.... report them! CCP takes it very seriously!

You can report a suspected bot by opening up the players info (You can get to this by right clicking on the ship, got to the Pilot submenu and click Show Info) and click the white box in the upper left and choose Report Bot. Are you sure it's not just a multi-boxer? If they are warping at the same timethat sounds like someone using a multi-box utility, not a bot. Honestly, gank them and see how their pod reacts.

Murdering bots alerts the owner to stop, CCP wont have a chance to prove anything forthemselves.

After a little more observation it seems that there is another character involved. Another mackinaw, this one set up for veldspar.

I haven't found a fourth as yet, but perhaps there is another that is set up for kernite, so all 4 ore types are covered.

The plan seems to be to send out the first 2 bots to strip the system of scordite and pyroxeres and then move on to at least a third bot to mop up the rest.

There are 2 corps involved, the orca pilot is in a seperate corp to the mackinaw bots (looking at employment history, members of one corp were previously with the other corp).

Have used the report bot feature on all 4 charcters, ganking isn't an option at present. Looking at the modules fitted and running them through EFT it looks like the mackinaws have an EHP in excess of 20,000. I don't have the firepower to take them down before concord show up, even though this is a 0.5 system.

I could post the piiot/corp names, but I don't want to alert them and allow them the opportunity to escape getting whacked with a banhammer.

You can always check how smart he / she / they are and toss them a wardec (probably will cost you 50m).
If you don´t want to do it by yourself feel free to send me an evemail with targets name and system.
