Um, so get some of your miner buddies to actually be at their keyboards and fit some destroyers and go gank his ass. Oh but wait...James' Stabber fit doesn't include any guns, so you'd be ganking an unarmed ship. What a dilemma!

*disclaimer: Not a member or associate of New Order. I do, however, find the psychotic miner rantings on his blog to be effin hilarious. Please continue to cry, rage, and wish harm on people IRL over losing internet spaceships in a game where the economy is based on losing internet spaceships.

Or by having bumping ships in hisec outside a wardec declared an exploit.

Because it's not the players who nerf or buff anything in the game, it's CCP.

CCP has already ruled this as not an exploit. I suppose they could change their minds, but then I guess NO would go with just gankings instead.

Stealing his corp name while he is in a Blood lines corp after disbanding to avoid your war dec, that I would call a win. Then when he recreates his corp if he uses a name that is to similar petition his corp name. Twisted

No I am saying it is hypocritical to gank unarmed ships and say it is the act of a hero.

Wait, are you talking about Eve or real life?

James is the savior of highsec, nay. James is the savior of all New Eden!

He brings wisdom to the slovenly, ill fed, misguided masses in the form of deeds and inspirational speech. Thank you Frying Doom for sharing these gems of thought and truth with us.

Long live James and the New Order!

Bunch of cowards.

Isn't it time you you manned up to your moral responsibilities and pay your mining license like your supposed to. Think of it as a donation to the betterment of high sec.

James isn't your enemy, he's trying to gently help you via bumping and ganking. Its an act of kindness, and you should do the honorable thing , and live up to your side of the bargain and pay the man for his kind hearted work.

When you pay a mining fee and refrain from bot aspirant behavior, it acknowledges the important lesson you have been taught, that lesson of course being "Pay your mining fee and don't engage in bot aspirant behavior".

Nobody likes a freeloader, Frying Doom, especially a freeloader who leaches off his teachers. In a sense, its sort of like griefing. Please stop griefing James.

At a bare minimum, all ships flown by Eve players are armed with a mark 1 human brain. If a pilot can't use theirs, the saviour of highsec is in no way to blame. James is a hero because he brings Eve to many people who are sitting around highsec belts playing not-Eve.

He screams like a warrior while tearing toward code-violating ships and showering them with holy antimatter, but I've never heard him scream like a girl, nor run away.

The carebears want to log in and play not-Eve. The non-carebears log in and play Eve.

I agree completely. War dec evasion should be nerfed, so that miners can no longer evade war decs so easily. I mean, so the cowardly New Order can no longer evade war decs so easily. I am completely unaware of the fact that James and the rest of the New Order started the New Order because they saw first hand how easy it is to avoid decs, since they were in war dec corporation prior to starting the NO. Due to my ignorance, I agree with Frying Doom 100% and join his call to nerf dec evasion.

If there is a mechanic in Eve that lets us punch each other in station with our little avatars, let us know. Otherwise, yes. Eve Online is a futuristic science fiction Internet Spaceship game, and we are all anonymous mouthbreathers who don't pay attention to some histrionic tool, just killboards and, you know, flying the ships.
I saw James315's used toilet paper at an Eve auction. People were seeing The Prophecy of Eve in its poop patterns like tea leaves. Every once in a while he makes an ok point, but even a clock that is wrong is right twice a day.

The difference is when I say stupid stuff I acknowledge it. My criticism of him is clearly over the top, but there's no denying he and his followers treat every precious bon-mot he spews as gospel. Eve is wayyy more complicated.

I deny it.

See how easy that was?

Apply your mind, capable of apprehending the complexity of EVE, to the website full of that 'spew', and try to perceive the complexity there as well. Or not, read it with dismay like a highsec miner, unable to discern anything but the most literal layer. Your choice.

what i see is constant anger towards carebears from people who use carebear-like methods to protect themself from carebear-like dangers.

What i don't see is: where is this magic thing which separates carebears and non-carebears in this situation

Truly, calling out James 315 and his New Order as cowards is the surest way to get them to change their ways. Their lack of e-honour can only be addressed with righteous statements such as this.

I couldn't care less about high security space. I spend most of my time with nullbears. It's okay to be open-minded (I'd like to think I am) but not so open minded that I let garbage fall in, too. My problem is his entire schtick comes off as one-note, cultish, and not really very relevant to Eve's major problems. It's easy to conflate "complexity" with substance. Eve in its entirety IS complex because it's so much more than hisec hisec miner miner.

Well I would pay James his mining license. Except unfortunately I am not a Hi-sec dweller, so for it to have any meaning, james would have to leave hi-sec.

Now this would cost him a fortune in nappies as he would constantly be wetting himself.Lol

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Your naivete is hilarious. Surely you jest in ignoring the well known "top ten ways to battle the cowardice of the New Order", (for all know that battling cowards is most difficult and requires numerous tools, or one will surely be defeated by their massed and terrifying cowardice).

10. Bury your head in the ice and orbit the asteroid like an ostrich. The sight of a bared and immobile neck is terrifying to any well-trained swordsman.

9. Write a hysterical petition to the GMs, describing how you lost at EVE.

8. Bring an Orca to rep your retrievers. When the orca goes suspect, the gankers will ignore the retriever and destroy the Orca instead. Victory for the miners! Unless the retriever is afk, then it will still be destroyed later. :(

7. Begin to create a website, but never update it. This neglect proves that the gankers are never 'getting to you', or you'd be motivated to update the website.

6. Invoke the strawberry.

5. Write another petition to the GM's, since your first was obviously lost in a solar flare.

4. Reship from your mining barge to a frigate and fly around at a high speed. Surely this will accomplish something?

3. Vote for the fake highsec candidates that the NO is awoxing the CSM with, like -redacted- and -redacted- .

2. Return to the petition form, this time adding that "my uncle is a LAWYER".

1. Last but not least: proving your intent to fight the New Order with deeds not words, by wardeccing a 1-man corp which you know will evade, instead of wardeccing a 50-man alliance of New Order members which you know would actually fight back, which has existed for months and been advertised as such.

You're posting quite a few times about highsec, for someone who doesn't care about it at all.

So let's get this straight: at first you were complaining that the NO was gullible. Now you're saying that sure, you know there are elements of satire and irony involved in the NO, but that you really have issues with the NO because it's not 'relevant to EVE's major problems?".

Well:

1. It IS actually relevant to EVE's major problems, because while carebear power creep is only one issue, it's the one which has killed more MMO's than any other single issue.

2. Even if 1. weren't true, it's laughable to attack a group of EVE players for not being "serious enough" and "having too much fun." That attack presupposes it's own futility: if the target really isn't serious, then they won't care about the attack. If they do care about the attack, then they aren't that nonserious. It's an oxymoronic accusation.
