Dear capsuleers,

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of EVE Online and the upcoming fanfest, we at GARPA have decided to release the most recent version of Garpa Topographical Survey to the public. Navigation is a common challenge for players, and GTS is a best-of-class tool to help players get the most out of EVE. Some people may remember this tool as EVE-Map, or be using a really, really ancient version available via eve-files.com (don't use that one). Read the details here:

GTS is awesome. Set your to and from, say use jump bridges, avoid VFK, and find a nice safe path to whereever.

And if you say you'll never run anything made by the goons, hope you are not running EveMon.

Flashbacks to university years? The manual was typeset with LaTeX. I imagine users of gnuplot are often exposed to LaTeX, too. Anyway, the manual was all spookydonut's work, I just proofread and helped edit it.



Also: I realize most of Goonswarm's enemies already have access to the latest version, so this release really helps the poor souls using ancient versions who are not our enemies anyway.

what's great is they put link straight from the begin of article so i didn't need to look at this poorly styled and colored site more that i needed to press that link.

GTS is great, used it many times in the past so will have to look into this new version (seeing as mine turned out to be like v1.1 lol)

You were using the "right one", made by Lhyda Souljacker. An interim version got released some years ago but it was both buggy and with less information than the old one.


I just tried the new one and it's excellent.

As a testament to Lhyda Souljacker ability, notice how not even this super latest release manages to deliver the sheer detail of Lhyda's version (which therefore I'll have to keep installed). Lhyda's provided absurd details like every system's roid's mineral names, this one does not.
