An assassination attempt, Cetes? On whose part? I can only assume that this interrupted the wrestling, but that no lives were lost -- save perhaps the assassin's.

Do we have any information on whom (if anybody) the assassin was working for and why they attempted this?

Clever publicity stunt, that. Just the kind of thing that rakes in ISK and interest in one's charity drive.

Well, the whole event was meant to raise funds for the victims of the Caille incident. Somewhat ironic to see it end in a similar way; with a lone gunman with nothing to lose. Misery loves company, I guess.

In any case, I'd like to thank the host for a quite enjoyable, if somewhat tacky show, and wish all wounded in the incident a quick recovery.

A sad turn of events, in which I mirror captain Bloodbird's feelings. Who is in charge of the investigation? Does this fall under CONCORD jurisdiction, being pod pilots as they are, or is it a matter to be handled by the Gallente police force due to it happening planetside?

For those of you suggesting that this assassination attempt was a "publicity stunt", you either don't know Ava, or you're begging for a clan blood writ against you. Either way: be careful.

This is a profoundly disturbing act, one that has shaken Ava's brothers and sisters in Gradient and the Electus Matari. Regardless of who leads up the investigation, we will follow the trail to its source and punish those responsible.

Hello everyone;

I just wanted to write with an update. We have been able to prevent substantial diffusion of the neurotoxin through the blood/brain barrier, so it is expected that both will emerge unscathed. Normally we would find the peripheral neuron damage to be a serious trauma, but due to the patients' abilities to migrate to a new clone, we are not considering this a debilitating effect at this time.

Pilot Starfire suffered the worst effects, and has been given a full transfusion of synthetic plasma. She's currently undergoing deep tissue treatments to deal with static buildup in interstitial pockets.

Pilot Tuulinen suffered only mild effects. He has undergone plasma dialysis and is currently undergoing the same deep tissue treatments.

We are expecting a full recovery in short order for all affected parties.
