For start get Iteron3, then 4 and finally if you need the space 5.
There will come changes to the skills later though so the 5 isnt necessary.
Remember to have also tank on the ship, medium shield extenders, em/invul hardener, damagecontrol etc.
They will save you from single ganker destroyers.
Small stuff can be moved in the scanner frigates, most get like 1000m3 cargo if totally rigged.
Worry about hauling and logistics after you get used to finding good product and running your production chain.
If you start to really do stuff at big scale you can just start using contracts to move parts and products to factories and markets.

Ahh okay thanks, well only skill i have atm is Production Efficency at 3. So tonight planning having a wee look at what i can make a profit off from the station i'm in. Just to make like 100k profit and see how that goes. Like planning to sell Light Missile I which gets a 70% profit i believe well roughly

Every level of prod eff reduces waste 4%, the first ME level of BPO 5% and 2 next ones 2.5% more etc.
So at Prodeff 5 and ME BPO 10 you are using almost 30% less materials to make the same item. (simplified math, results vary)
This is where the profitabilty of items starts to appear. So get your skills up and somehow get your hands into researched bpos or gain access to research facility (generally this means POS lab access).
When i look for good stuff to make, i just use default of 5ME research on any unowned item on EVE IPH. When you get the raw list then you can start to refine it further with various other research levels.

Here is small example what EVEIPH does for you.

http://gyazo.com/a0954c10be5c773104405eee3dcdbcee

Its bit refined list of T1 modules/drones/ammo, char has Prod Eff 5, you can see the BPO research levels.
The prices are from Jita, as you can see even in this small take there are good items.
Next week all these items might have crashed and other items emerged, the profit for individual item varies a LOT.
The values are bit higher in the link than normally since i forgot to change the manuf time to 1 instead 0.75 which is POS array speed.

I'll have a look at the link, my network at work thinks it is some virus so has blocked it.

Yeah i need to understand all of these little boxes which say 1,2,3,4,5 on them and see what i supposed to put on it.

Thank you very much you've been very helpful.

I can get a hold of BPC's and mabye some BPO but what would you advice as min skills before i start doing indy work?

The skills have been listed already, you can start with Prod Eff 4 but 5 is really recommended.
The other indy skills just increase your production speed and parallel jobs, which obviously means more isk/hour if the item is profitable.

Ahh right was led to believe there was more skills which would affect with material but that's fine.

Well i'll do some planning for next two days once i hit 4 prod then i'll make some stuff and try to sell if i can :)

Thanks again mate.

The other skills come in play when you start to research your blueprints :)

Btw does it cost alot to do that research thing to get T2 items. Because i was thinking doing for Light missile I laucher, 40% chance and get 170% profit.

T2 manufacturing is a bit different beast, you are almost required to have your own POS to make the copies which you then use in invention. Also you need more science skills, the actual material costs arent THAT much bigger you just get extra components in addition to just minerals. The biggest "part" in tech2 production is more player effort in inventing and making the items.

There is lots of wiki pages about T2 invention and manufacturing if you are interested.

To invent a Light missile launcher II, you need the following skills:
Caldari Encryption Methods I (higher is better)
Rocket Science I (higher is better)
Mechanical Engineering I (higher is better)

You need a Light Missile Launcher I BPO, the ability to make lots of max-run copies, a number of data cores, the appropriate decryptor and a lot of patience.

T2 invention is skill-heavy relative to T1 and lots and lots of clicking required (plus lots of BPCs for the items) and a good amount of starting capital

Ahh well. I'll stick with building and selling T1 Products atm. Well once i have the skills ofc i'll get into it.

I'll extend my Toons life for another month and see how things go. If i can see some money coming in next month then i'll keep up with it. By a few people they have been vey genorous and gave me a few BPC's to get me on my way. So i'll start producting this weekend and hopefully find somewhere to go.

Want to thank everyone again for the help. Brilliant Community.

If i have any more questions i'll just post back into this thread.

Just keep training Production Efficiency, and you'll see a profit.

But if i'm in high sec and finish work at 5pm by 6pm all i have chose is veldspar pyrox and some other crappy. stuff.

So how much should i be maken in high sec with solo retreiver because i can't see how i can make much more money, even mining scordite.

If you mine veldspar in high sec your numbers are correct.

If you mine massive scordite and refine it yourself and sell it in jita you might get better numbers.

Hmm, well i'm trying to move from mining because i would need to find a big corp where they run OP's all day to have any benefits and entertainment on my side.

So moving to Indy work. Stressful cause made stuff now waiting for it to sell but not sure if it will sell or not :)
