Dusty graphics in mission areas, etc making the video card work more.

I want to see them eradicated. They are a performance killer and a literal eye sore. Death to the shite smoke.

Have the same problem with them dustclouds.. FPS drops from 60 to 25/30... Very annoying! Please fix it or remove them all together :)

My ten year old pc coughs and dies when im in these clouds. Literally...

Unless I zoom way out (to the point that stations are like pinpricks) my pc crashes and shuts down...

God damnit I need a new pc Cry

EDIT: My pc runs a single EVE client at 12fps so imagine what happens when I hit a dust cloud hahaha

no problem with my main computer, but my laptop has problems with them, I would tell you stats but don't want this thread to turn into a computer E peen contest.

Extremely valuable gas clouds have been discovered in the Pegasus constellation which have created a gold rush. ORE was quick to claim 'ownership' as the constellation borders its sovereign space, but the Serpentis and the Syndicate, as well as multiple entrepeneurs from the Gallente Federation, have all claimed their own piece of the pie. Inevitably collisions have occurred and the constellation has become a sort of 'warzone' between various groups of greedy claimants.

While FPS remains pretty stable for me, I do notice a rise in the GPU's fan speed whenever these dust clouds are around. I also don't find them particularly pretty. Would like a way to disable them entirely.

A performance boost would be nice, but complaining about overheating hardware is Roll.

A GPU at stock clock, and with an appropriately maintained cooling solution, can run at full bore indefinitely (not accounting for any significant engineering flaws).

pretty sure I saw a thread from a dev recently that said they toned the clouds down to help with this.

No offense, but this topic has been brought up on near a weekly basis. A simple search would yield many threads outlining the same problem.

Please in the future, use the search function and post in an existing thread, or simply bump an existing thread.

Devs are aware of the issues and have no solution at this time.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I know the devs did some work a while back and it made big improvements but i still find these horrible clouds that lag my PC.

I have a nVidia GTX 260.

In retribution the devs did some work that reduced the load that these clouds impose on our graphics cards, but at the same time they added the new features to the UI such as glowing red circles around things that are shooting you. These glowing red circles add more load to my poor little machine than any dust clouds ever did Lol

If you think it's bad try running HDR lighting. It won't be just your graphics card that bursts into flames...
