Well, as Malcanis is apt to do, he's nailed the central flaw in your argument, and in turn, the argument of most commentators.

Why do you, a person who has not left highsec in a cruiser, have any opinion on the "state of nullsec" ?

Same reason Nullies keep trying to "fix" high sec.

I agree with OP. Clearly him and his corp mate should be able to venture out into null in their retrievers and four hobo i's and claim some sov for themselves.

Also of course fix that stupid thing where other people can come kill them.

cleaned that up for you a little reflect reality

guess you're right, nobody has the competence to do it

You do have to admit not even the Goons have the ability or competence to do it anymore. Not that I'm complaining, but it's much easier to move once you have traction and momentum.

Take into consideration you have a large bloc of players who already prideful on being assholes (no offense) and have attracted a huge fan/playerbase... I'd think that if the Goons needed to reinvent themselves, they wouldn't be able to. Repeat, sure. Reinvent, notsomuch.

Any rate, kind of strange to ask that someone follow in your footsteps when you know you have the masses already.

Although your point makes sense, you know well enough that the way things are currently there is no way to really challenge the sov of the power bocs.

It's why HBC didn't go after you, unless it's all about the tech after all...

There was no war because the grind would have been a long pointless expense and neither side needed the space as they own enough already. That doesn't mean that another bloc like the Russians could band together and try it on with the cfc, they killed the nc off which held the same space the cfc currently holds.

If you look at areas of the south right now there's a bunch of new alliances living there right now. Null does need work but it's not as static as some make out, just look at AAA.

invalid argument, everyone has spent time in high sec, but not vice versa. Null sec guys regularly are in high, it's where most of the industry is done, where the majority of afk miners are to get ganked. See you soon ;)

Well I keep 3 characters in hi-sec and spend maybe 30-75% of my time logged into them rather than my 2 "0.0 mains". Would you stand behind the implied assertion that the OP spends most of his time logged into his 0.0 alts?

You have asserted that null doesn't have enough conflict. The post I quoted seems to imply that you don't have much experience in null (the idea of a lone cruiser getting hotdropped by multiple supers is a giveaway here). Since the logical conclusion is that your information about null is second-hand at best, I wondered where you got it from.

So. Where did you get your information about the state of 0.0? Was it this forum? It's OK to say it was.

Oh god no, no you miss understood me. I didn't say null doesn't have enough conflict. I mearly stated that the goons are probably (and I did stress I said probably) got bored of no one really challanging them... I'm not saying people don't...but do they have a rival as big as them other than test?

I've been in low sec, lost a ship tonight too, had fun doing it haha probably fit all wrong mind. Been in null twice, made it into the first part and caught in a warp bubble both times haha...luckily escaped back to the gate both times...
The part about me saying a single cruiser gets hot dropped by a super cap fleet was meant as a joke...

Its true, the majority of what little I know about null sec is from in game chat in channels like NER and forum posts. I would love to learn a lot more about it, it is afterall my aim... Combat pilot in null, might train into logi too so if I do suck at pvp (which atm I am terrible) I can be of some use in fleets...

Unless of course you would be willing to take me under your tutoring Malcanis (hey no harm in asking, worse you can say is no and destoy me in game lol) worth a shot asking Big smile

It's human nature to want to explore. To find your line and go beyond it. The only limit, is the one you set yourself.

What?

Those big alliances you spoke of worked hard to get that space. They can do what they like. If you want war, make a corp, build it up to an alliance, form a coalition, then go and smack them around. All CCP "needs" to do is fix the sov grind (and maybe bottom up income at the same time).

I know. Make all interactions completely anonymous.

Remove corps, remove contacts, remove standings, remove the station guest list, and have each client assign each character in a chat channel a completely random ID number (so that no two clients display the same ID for the same character).

That should nerf friends enough.

But we will still call it a multiplayer game just so we don't feel too bad about playing a game with no interaction at all. We can't lower ourself THAT low...

Look at the north/west for instance. Only carebears live in those places. LAWN, SMA, TNT, FCON, TEST, GOONS, -FA-, .EXE. There only getting fat in there carebearing regions.

It is still beyond my understanding why you would want an all out jerk fest blueing each other. Where's the honour in that. Isn't it getting boring. Or is eve only about isk these days and not about fun. Cry

Please CCP , please let the summer expansion have a sov overhaul where even smaller corps can get sov so having sov is fun again. Make it something worth fighting for.

Now please let the troles out.

why don't you join a null sec alliance and see yourself
if people can carebear in their nullsec space it is so because the alliance made it possible that they can

If a alliance can not keep its space relative safe its members will leave and the alliance will fail

Come on bro, when has facts or reality ever bothered people on these forums? They just keep touting Riverini’s vitriolic bullcrap about null being all blue, despite the kill mails.
