As EVE moves into its Second Decade, the disparity between slick new elements and old is becoming increasingly noticeable.

Great progress has already been made on this front, but this stratification can be clearly seen throughout EVE. For example, there are at least 3 distinct UI styles (legacy/PI/modern), convoluted processes (starbases) and unappealing interfaces (corp management, right-click menu) which are less and less acceptable to today's gamer and make hard work of many of EVE's gameplay elements.

Whilst these elements can be explained by EVE's age, do you think they can be overcome, or will EVE's age and the underlying development challenges always hamper its continued growth?

Could CCP Unifex enlighten us regarding his new role in mobile strategy? Will we see Planetary Interaction on tablets as he suggested at the CSM Summit?

Also: not a question, but I'd just like to say thanks for the current development direction and the returning passion for more esoteric elements of EVE. It's not just about spaceships and explosions, EVE has an epic sense a wonder and mystery that cannot be found in any other MMO and I am thankful you are starting to capitalise on that too, rather than just delivering a PvP engine.

[Edit: I made the mistake of making my question far too long-winded for CCP Guard to read out (I think I saw his eyes glaze over when he was skimming the forums on his tablet). Any chance of a written response to unanswered questions?]

this videocast has the possibility to raise expectations from us players towards ccp just to have them dashed again.

if this videocast is really about the PAST, present and future of eve, then i hope you devs appearing on it have learned how dashed expectations based on 'blue sky dreaming' about future posibilities of eve online kill players desires and excitement about your core product.

plz plz i emplore you, dont talk about stuff that 'could' be, whether its a could be in 5 years, 2 years or the end of the year. plz talk about things that matter to the playerbase (your customers) and that we are likely to see and be a part of in the near future.

because if this videocast is going to be about random wishings of ccp employees that dont have a clue on the real posibilities of actually achieving it, then i know I wont be watching it for long at all.

I am really happy that CCP is trying to improve the game to incorporate all different types of play styles. This should help give the game more diversity, and help create a more vibrant EVE and more interesting EVE and better sandbox.

There was absolutely not even one substantial thing said that could be even remotely treated as important stuff in the way as devblogs or stickies in F&I subforum threads are. Every question is basically answered with either "fanfest" or "we are talking about it but nothing is done". I like history lessons as much as the next guy but those streams are literally "buy hd stream" ads and not very subtle about it.

Nobody forced me to watch it but, yeah... You could just produce 5 minute long movie with CCP Guard doing something funny instead.
