What matters is that you've only got a single email. This definately doesn't consitute spam.

spam: Send the same message indiscriminately to (large numbers of recipients) on the Internet.

It does not matter how many messages a person receives but how many messages were sent. This definitely does constitute spam.

Without care or making distinctions, thoughtless.

How can anyone be so indiscriminate in making friends as he is?

So they bothered to discriminate and send one to each subscriber of EvE, not just every account or alt. Nor did they just send out-of game mail to every address in their system.

So not spam.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

It wasn't a personal letter, just junk mail spat out by a machineSad

Yes, the CSM team of Xhagen and Dolan sent a mail to all active accounts today and this will be the only one you receive from CCP. The CSM are such an important conduit to the devleopers and producers in CCP and we want to ensure that you all have the option to get your candidate of choice elected and representing you.

I understand Navi. CCP is very busy and can't possibly listen to all of it's customers, so a elected Customer Service Mob is a convenient loophole.

You don't want someone that represents me

Trust me on that

You are an idiot. If you actually think that then you clearly haven't been playing Eve.

Then why did all 3 of my accounts get the message? They are all under the same name.

You must have been very lucky, I only got one email for 5 accounts.

You presume that well-targeted mass mail is 100% accurate. It's not.

I've dealt in 'Leads Generation' and mass-mail operations in the past. Even with large staff and lots of lead time and a narrow target, it's still never 100% accurate. All you can do is try to be as accurate as possible, within the bounds of reason.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Didn't vote? Then you voted for NulBloc

Oh well, all of the whiny babbies showed why sending out this evemail was a bad idea. Guess it's time to scrap all of these outreach efforts and leave the hiseccers to their mission/mining botting while nullsec controls their game!

Most of us were aware the CSM election was taking place already, just none of the candidates are worth voting for.

Damn nature, you scary!

I looked at the mail from CCP about the CSM and had already looked at those running for the CSM and asked myself who are these people and clicked delete.

The CSM was nothing more than a PR stunt after the farce that was the T20 incident. And it stuck,
