Do you want to help the victims of the recent attack in Caille?

Do you want to relax and enjoy yourself for a short time?

Do you want to see a hulking Civre beat my ass?

Tomorrow evening, at 0100 EVE standard time (( Approximately 9:00 PM EST on the 16th )) at the Divinity's Edge Club, you can do all three! I will be facing off against Pieter "The Bruiser" Tuulinen in a wrestling match - which I expect to lose spectacularly - and it will involve several hundred gallons of lime flavored gelatin. Drinks, music, and a bit of relaxation are of course also planned, and all proceeds from the event, the bar, and, of course, the 2 credit pay-per-view fees to watch the event on the holonet will all be donated to cover any medical or other expenses for the victims of the attack in Caille.

The event will be fun, folks. It is for a good cause. Come down, have fun, donate. A lot of people's lives were horribly impacted by this senseless violence. Here is our chance to help them out. Divinity's edge is on Caille, off of the Crystal Boulevard on Deuvoaut Avenue. Beautiful neighborhood.

Free lime jello for everyone!

"What about Shaman Suryionen's medical expenses?" I hear them ask.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Funny!

I expect I wont be the one with medical expenses, Twinkie!

Bring it!

I-- I think I might need something stiffer than tea, now.

And that's not an invitation, Pieter.

I'm not sure what to think about seeing my spiritual adviser and friend wrestling in gelatin, even though it's for a good cause. What?

No worries, Anabella. Lime is my favorite.

I made sure that she got her favourite flavour. Since she'll be eating so much of it.

This is surely something new and refreshing.

Lemony-grade refreshing, even.

I pretty much never show up at any bar or pub or capsuleer-sponsored location for a variety of reasons, but I may just be there for this.

I expect EVERYONE might be there for this.

To donate to the worthy cause, of course.

Be sure to auction the jello afterward. A quick GalNet research shows there are certain circles of connoisseurs ready to pay a fair amount to have a taste of lime-with-a-hint-of-Ava-and-Pieter flavoured jello.

I find this event a touch vulgar, especially given the description of what the fighters will be wearing.

I will donate directly to the charity, however, as I support it, even if I find the method of raising money distasteful.

I would point out that I swim in less than I will be wearing in the ring.

Ava, apparently, fulfils the dresscodes of some of the more stringent Amarrian ladies colleges.

I think a Gallente writer once said something like "humor is the politeness of despair".
And it seems, Ma'am, that you have no manners.

Those are trying times, that test our ability to behave with decency and dignity. If anything, this event shows that those reside deeper than one's public image, and deepens the respect I already have for Ava and Pieter.

We could use a good laugh -I know I could, at least. Spirits, we ought to laugh, we have to, about everything and everyone, if only to increase our chances to dodge whatever the universe throws at us.

I'll do my best to attend. The hardest part will be to choose who to cheer for.

Oh, I know : GO TEAM SILLY !

I am sorry if you are offended by my not attending.

However, I suspect Pieter and Ava are more interested in having money go to an important cause than in having me attend an event that would make me uncomfortable.

As someone who has been frustratingly unable to beat Ava in space. I'm more than willing to spend one hundred million isk, for the benefit of one of my favorite cities in the cluster, to see Mr. Tuulinen put her face down into a pool of neon green gelatinous dessert.

As someone who loves to see strong, independent female figures, even those such as Karin Midular, accomplish great things. I will spend two hundred million isk, for the benefit of one of my favorite cities in the cluster, if Ava wins.

I would really be glad to tale part in the donation, but as long as I have no clue on what help are already recieving the victims, I do not see the point honestly.
