Let's see... a Republic fleet comes to my homeworld, murders hundreds of thousands of people - including my parents, kidnaps me, drags me back to their stations, tries to brainwash me into fighting against my own people, and then acts surprised when their plan culminates in me stealing one of their ships and blasting my way right back to my home & what was left of my family.

And... the "council" of another terrorist is somehow going to help me get over my anger? Sorry, but only God can do that - and God has done much of that already.

You know when you look back through history into how this all started, the irony here is beautiful.

At least the Republic fleet didn't use Vitoxin.

No, they just used insorum...

Pilot Farel.

Insorum is designed to remove the Vitoxin mutagen from an infected individual's system.

In the context of your statement it appears that you are insinuating that the use of Insorum is of equal severity to the use of Vitoxin.
Available data does not corroborate this insinuation.

Not that I would really have much experience with any agent involved in the process - Vitoxin, Vitoc boosters or Insorum - but I think that insorzapine bisulfate can be used to treat specific strains of viral agents. It's a genetic toxin, so possible side effects include it attacking healthy tissue, if it can't bond with its intended mutagenic target.

No need to be worried, though! An athmospheric Insorum release would harm only the unshielded masses and slaves that were infected by another strain of vitoxin or none at all. What's the worst case, a few hundred million commoners dead from the initial viral agent release and then some from slave riots? And that's on a high-population temperate planet, on domed colonies the casualties would be most certainly limited to several millions!

Wait, that's actually still pretty terrible. At least the Holders and everyone important would be mostly safe in shielded locations, though!

Though all the best to the Ray of Matar, despite all this tribal superstition, she seemed to really care about her people.

As much as I love a conversation about the evils of Vitoxin, seriously, must every thread remotely connected to the Minmatar or the Empire degenerate into this?

As the title of this thread indicates, it is intended as a place to express positive wishes, prayers and thoughts toward the Ray of Matar. Please do not use this thread as a repository of ongoing debates among yourselves.

Rather, let us continue to project ourselves positively toward Karin Midular, her family, tribe, and the hope of her recovery.

The Disciples of Ston bid you peace

Isn't it funny how few conversations we have about slaver hounds being sicked on disobedient slaves, or public flagellation, lives in the breeder pens, or any number of other horrific treatments that our people have endured?

Or or or! We could talk about Minmatar torture methods! Haha, some of the most vile, absolutely sickening, crude methods of interrogation were birthed behind our doors! It's a disservice to our brutality that so much breath is wasted on the evils of Vitoxin and yet our outrageous treatments of our prisoners is practically overlooked!

You know what else we don't talk about enough?! This one is minuscule in comparison but overlooked nonetheless! Let's take the Federation's treatment of certain people in service jobs, hmm? How there are waitresses essentially in positions of being wage slaves, forced to work in depraved conditions due to their circumstances.

Or I don't know, maybe the fact that there are a plurality of pirate cartels who trade human lives for little more than sport?! How can you fools devote so much energy to tearing down a good-meaning, pious people looking out for your best interests when there are monsters out there who will sell your children into sex for the kick they get out of it and a quick, pure cut of crash?

You ******* morons, with your fixation on Vitoxin, and your other pitiful little distractions which you regurgitate time and time again and slap in each other's faces. You are too caught up in your transient, yet so often re-occurring conflicts to see the big picture.

How do you all justify your aggrandized vitriol and spite towards one another when you are so blissfully ignorant? By all rights you should be serene, damn you, what is wrong with you?!

Captain Halete,

I do believe you missed Shaman Surionen's point entirely.

I would also suggest that you seek the company and counsel of friends, your spirit appears greatly troubled.

Let us please return to keeping this thread on topic.

Oh well as I said before, I've always prefered Midular to Shakor, even though she's a Republican b*tch. One you can reason with, but still a b*tch, pardon my language.

I can't be bothered to send a bouquet, so a 'Get well soon' will have to do.

Insorum is highly, genetically hazardous for healthy individuals not contaminated by Vitoxin, as far as I recall.

Farel, are you a ******* robot totally devoid of any human emotion? Not everything can be reduced to the 1s and 0s of your cold logic. If you need to prove your supposed intellectual superiority and your need to be "right" please, do it in another thread.

To the crazy ***** Luftschreck and other malcontents; please take your addled nonsense elsewhere. Adults of goodwill are attempting to communicate here. Thanks.

I do not see what my logic has to do with the thread in question.

I am not here to prove some intellectual superiority or a need to be right. I am however, taking part of what people usually call "knowledge" and the concept of sharing it.

I do not see what is the issue at all, actually.

I also support the content of the OP, even if that is quite obvious.
