They don't do anything. You pay for their trip(s).

The real problem is CCP management. They want 'Castle Wolfenstein Goes To Space'.

Is that what WE want?

I've already got all I want out of EVE.

These days, my toons show up just often enough to pull strings and watch the puppets dance. P

CSM in a nutshell:

Produce a whole lot of words, pretend they mean something, go to Iceland, produce some more words, give a few empty promises, release a few low tier token features,, pat each other on the backs, call it a success, claim the CSM is important and if you don't support it with your vote you hate EVE and should just quit.

Or they mistakenly say "You don't vote you don't get to complain". Which is complete crap, I pay my $15 a month to CCP. I am their customer. The CSM does nothing for me...or anyone else...

Good so email them directly, so those of us who did vote, and paid our $15 a month, don't have to see the whining from someone who can't be stuffed to help himself.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

I'm pretty indifferent to the CSM mainly due to their complete lack of authority. They're a PR puppet. A brainfart at CCP marketing where they figured out that the appearance of choice when there was no choice to be had was enough to satisfy some people.

Hell. Pre war Iraq held elections after all.

Then the candidates start making promises and I go from indifferent to nauseous. It's not enough that they have no power. Now they're willing to bullshit me in order to achieve that non-existent power.

Is there a candidate that make no promises? because I might vote for that one for at least being honest.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

Hiseccers in a nutshell:

Prejudiced, conservative and ignorant biggots who contribute nothing to the MMO they don't know anything about, but are always happy to post their clueless crap on the forums.

NULLseccers in a nutshell:

Whiners on the forums that cry like little bitches until CCP gets sick of them and hands you them you ask for just to shut thier whiney arses up FRAPS of typical NULL SEC thread

Ok, I've found the voting link buried in a dev blog, buried at the bottom of an email, and in your sig. When CCP actually puts the "go here to vote now!" link in a prominent location, I'll vote.

Seriously, i don't think I've been this annoyed by vendor communication before. Wait, that's not true, when IBM bought Rational, it was absolutely horrific to find documentation and patches for ClearCase (or any other product.)

Dammit. Now I have to research the candidates and vote. CCP finally sent out an Eve Gate email.

Don't care about any CSM, past, present, or future. Too lazy to read through all the propaganda. Besides, like all politicians, 99% of what they spew on their promises never gets done anyway.

Those that make promises don't understand the purpose of the CSM, and their complete lack of power.

The most a CSM member can do is offer feedback on an issue when asked by CCP, or attempt to bring an issue to the attention of CCP.
