I think it is actually closer to 2 years, iirc.

Yes, the CSM team of Xhagen and Dolan sent a mail to all active accounts today and this will be the only one you receive from CCP. The CSM are such an important conduit to the devleopers and producers in CCP and we want to ensure that you all have the option to get your candidate of choice elected and representing you.

only one in three of my accounts got a mail about the CSM.
not that i care, because i've already voted, but still... it's not ALL active accounts, unless they aren't done.

It's one letter. You get the same amount every time you insure a ship and then another when you upgrade a clone. You then get two letters when you get the ship blown up and podded.

That's 4 letters for a single course of events and you complain about one letter a year from CCP.

upon further investigation i have discovered an organisation entirely dedicated to spamming my mailbox on an almost daily basis. this nefarious 'post office' has been sending agents to maliciously place printed articles inside my property simply because they have my name on them. i attempted to intercept one of these 'posties' but was shocked when he looked me directly in the eye while he placed the offending matter in my mailbox and cried "g'day" in broad daylight.

i have trapped my mailbox with a wasps nest while i continue my inquest into this insidious organisation's practices

So yes, I do get spam from CCP about 36 times a year. (Give or take.)
