New Caldari – In a public address given to Caldari Providence Directorate activists, State Executor Tibus Heth this afternoon delivered what has been characterized as a “disjointed, rambling attack on the Federation.” His speech touched on the recent tensions between the Federation and Minmatar Republic and the demilitarization of Caldari Prime.

He reminds me of a couple of people on here who grasp at straws in desperate attempts to destabilise the Federation's position through the weakest of arguments possible. And for once I'm not referring to Diana Kim's brand of delusional madness.

People like that do nothing more than show the frailties of their own situation and how bad it must be when they resort to such laughable tactics to try and bring the other side down with them. Not to mention the insult to the intelligence of those who they try to court favour with through such means.

Not to mention his speech was to a bunch of pre selected nodding yes men, he can't even trust the general masses of the State to listen to him and agree any longer.

It's only a matter of time before this man isn't even considered news, such is his increasing rate of irrelevance in the modern political climate.

Ramblings of a mad man, for sure. But right now, those ramblings might probably ring like truth for some Minmatar.

How shameful. For a supposed head of state to be this visibly out-of-touch with reality...

His words regarding the Mannar, Jin-Mei and my own people prove he is either entierly ignorant of commonly known facts or ignore them on purpose to suit his needs, meaning he lies directly to his own people to sow anger and hatred to prolong his own personal agenda and desire for war.

May I ask that the State kindly remove this man from power and get him the medical assistance he clearly needs? He is not fit for rulership in any way.

No.

Predictable answer.

Your loss at any rate. Tibus Heth can hardly do any more damage to the Federation at this point.

If you ask the Caldari a stupid question we will give you a blunt answer.

Its also good to know your a psychic or that you possess detailed notes on Heth's power base. The wounded animal is the most dangerous.

True enough, but do you honestly believe that Heth will be allowed to shove the whole State into a more serious conflict than what we have? All the Mega-corporations went along with him 5 years ago, but today his support is a little more... stale. Unless he somehow manage to unify the Megas behind him again and get them focused on the unified goal of striking us yet again, what he can do overall is rather limited by the other powers in the State.

Given his current state of being, I somehow find it hard to believe he will be leading anyone of any major note anywhere, anytime.

Of course, it does remain to be seen if I am merely uncharacteristically positive about the situation, if so I might be proven wrong soon. Let's hope not.

It didn't take the whole State to bomb Nouvelle Rouvenor, just a group of radicals which is exactly what Heth's power base is made up of. Just think what Tibus could do with the power he currently wields, 200 years ago the Templis Dragonauers were a much smaller organisation with limited funding that worked in the shadows. Today they openly follow the Executors orders.

Its usually not the first incident that kills the most people either. We all know what the reaction was from the Federation after the attack on Nouvelle Rouvenor, that led to the bombardment of Caldari Prime which led to the first Gallente-Caldari war and so on.

We almost saw the Minmatar come to blows with the Federation over the attack on Karin Midular, that was only avoided thanks to more level headed people being present.

Hubris has killed more people then caution. Its always good to keep that in mind, which ever flag you fly.

When i saw the title of this thread, I almost expected a muck raker story.

has Heth made a single speech where he did not angrily attack the federation?

Not indicative of corporate policy unless otherwise stated.

What was that Heth? I'm sorry but I can't hear you over all of this freedom!

I like how the headline was in all caps like this is some breaking \story. Just Heth being Heth.

Tibus Heth perfectly understands what dangers Gallenteans represent for our cluster.
Together, we will overcome them and stop gallentean cultural expansion!

I saw a feed of this speech earlier today and couldn't help but notice Executor Heth looked quite haggard. I hope he is not pushing himself too hard. Perhaps he should take a break for some rest and recuperation, and make sure he's in fit health.

Devotion to one's duties is admirable, but pushing oneself too much can lead to poor judgement when it matters.

Tibus Heth has said nothing new in this speech.

His speech speaks to the very historical fears and concerns that led to the creation of the State!

For years, Caldari capsuleers have warned our Matari peers about Gallente Imperialism and they have warned us about the Empire's Reclaiming. Both warnings can be hard to heed given pragmatic reality.

This is not a Caldari affair. We routinely ask to be left alone to deal with our own problems, it is hypocritical of us to give unasked-for opinions on this. If we're going to accuse the Federation of attempting to rule through idealistic monopoly, then to remain honest we should not aggressively expand our own ideals in like manner.

Let the Federation and the Republic deal with the situation on their own terms. Whatever your opinions on the Federation's past and present attitudes, this particular incident is no business of ours excepting that our input is requested.
