As to screwing around... looks more like screwing up.

It was merely a sarcastic statement. This monster has acted against the Minmatar as much as the Gallente, if not more so considering that I'm pretty sure no Gallente leaders were butchered by him.

We haven't made any mistakes regarding this. We thank the Gallente for all the assistance they have provided, but it's time to stop looking like their lap dog.

With all due respect, I would like to know when you supposedly started doing this. Having accepted help from an ally in the past and maintaining good relations with this entity does not make your their pets.

Among Post-Human alliances in null-sec a 'slave' or 'pet' is usually the negative term used for the inferior part(ies) in an imbalanced relationship. Renter alliances in another's space, and such.

As far as I understood it the relationship between the Federation and your Republic was one of mutual gain from the very start, unless I have missed something. If so, again I would like you to share.

So just to be clear, you're advocating the potential for war with an ally? If we're saying that the RSS incident wasn't a mistake.

I pray for the spirits of the deceased to find peace, the bodies of the wounded to be mended, the tears of the surviving kin to dry, and the Ray of Matar to shine through.

And Halete, please stop. This is an event of tragedy; let us involve only our prayers and helpful actions when needed.

I am also a human, straggling between the present world... and our future. I am a regulator, a coordinator, one who is meant to guide the way.

Most Gallente are rather blind to it, but many a Minmatar are treated rather poorly by the Federation as a whole, not to discount the kind individuals out there. An easy example of this is case between the Center of Advanced Studies vs Ms. Odenjorn. I cannot state our problems with the Federation better than she has.

Minmatar both in the Federation and the Republic are continuously treated unjustly by the Gallente. You can deny it all you want but it's out there, all you need to do is look.

We hope to return to that mutual gain and friendship, but that can only be done when the Federation is willing to regard us as equals.

Where did I say I wanted war the Federation?

The RSS acts independently from the Republic Military. If we were intent on starting war, we would of sent a much larger force. The Elder attack during the One Day War couldn't make this more clear.

Wagging your fist isn't enough to make people think you are serious, shooting a gun in the air is.

So you don't believe that regardless of the RSS' independence, the loss of a large amount of Republic lives in a shootout wouldn't potentially spark a war? I'm not so certain myself, given the responses I've seen on current matters so far by certain individuals.

If the refusal to extradite a prisoner caused a fleet of Warships to illegally hop a border, what could the loss of those ships in a battle with Gallente ships potentially have caused?

For the Matari to make such a stink about this is hypocritical, with all the demands of respect for their traditions and ways that are made on a regular basis. How about some respect for the other people who were injured or actually killed, eh? What about them? Are they somehow lesser than this one woman, to the point that it is unreasonable to respect the procedures of law where the incident actually happened?

Yes, that is exactly what they think. Tribal Races > All "Lesser" Races. Good to see that you're seeing the picture clearly. Smile

On one hand : The RSS didn't want justice to be done, they wanted to punish whoever claims he's guilty of the shooting. The Federation being what it is, it's understandable they refuse to deliver the guy. We have laws ; old laws, good laws -but the RSS chose to voice the anger of a people rather than its reason. D*ck move.

On the other hand, the Federation refuses to divulge any information concerning the suspected shooter, while disclosing Karin Midular medical state. The first could have soothe the anger, the second will only kindle it. D*ck move.

As much as I can understand Ondenjorn concerns considering the Minmatar minorities in the Federation, I wonder how the CAS would continue to work if every single state and minority in the Federation suddenly started to call for special treatment for their own kin.

I think you may be confusing Minmatar immigration in Federal space with the actual alliance between the Republic and the Federation.
