One thing that has been bugging me is that a ship with aggro, namely a carrier or supercap can log off to avoid being killed.
He warps to a safe and we have 15 minutes to kill him or he magically teleports away even if we have point on him, or he is in a bubble.

Why is this fair? If we go to the effort of scanning someone out and manage to get point on them, why should they get a free ticket to safety? Granted we may only have two or three battleships nailing a carrier and he manages to escape in low armour, it may seem like we had a chance but this is something that definately needs to be looked at, because in a game that is all about risk nobody should be able to escape being tackled fair and square.

Another thing that carriers can do , and have done to me is be in warp to an anomaly they plan to rat in, See me sitting on grid and log off while they are still landing and in Warp. Techically because they are no longer in game and logged out without any aggro they do not get a 15 minute timer and dissappear almost instantly , even if you have point. WTF?

TL;DR Log off timers should NOT prevent a legit kill from happening.

And Yes, I am mad.

If capitals or super capitals are tackled they should stay in space, not disappear.

Exactly.. If you petition any ship loss due to internet Failure or otherwise CCP never refunds it anyway..

The log off timer mechanic right now is being used in an abusive way .. In my opinion it should be removed altogether.
I would even say If you undock a ship and aggro someone with it/get aggro'd and log off purposefully it should be bannable.

Oh and the same goes for people who jump gate to refresh session change and then log off on the other side to avoid their 15 minutes X

To be honest, it's highly doubtful this would change. It opens CCP up to a whole lot of customer service hassles and emails with complaints of people that "were in a battle and I lost my internets" or the like. It'll create a lot more work for CCP ultimately... this is probably the reason it was implemented in the first place, I don't know. But, that being that, there are likely more worthwhile issues to spend your energy on.
