I've heard that it was worthless and overpriced, not sure if that was in PvP only but what do you guys think and why? I'm thinking about getting one as a mission runner and to maybe try some incursions.

It's a good PvP ship, but it's still a ~350mil loss mail waiting to happen. Now that most armor cruisers can dual web fit it's niche has been invaded by the regular T1 ships.

In PvE it has nothing on missile ships.

It's expensive but is an extremely good step forward compared to the thorax. The 90% web means that a single web is stronger than dual webs. This allows for you to free up a mid for a small cap booster II filled with navy 400s.

Overall it's fast, has amazing tackle, reasonable ehp in buffer fit mode, and does a hell of allot of damage for a cruiser. It's a frig pwning machine and will be able to eat pretty much anything else in it's class if it catches them.

Vigilant is a beautiful ship. It obviously has massive damage, excellent damage projection, and that sweet sweet web bonus. What people forget is that it is extremely agile for a cruiser, it can fit a 1600 plate without turning into a brick. The generous fittings of pirate ships mean you'll have no trouble fitting a 1600 plate and 5 neutrons. 4th mid is great, allowing for ECCM, sebo, or small cap injector. Unless you absolutely know for certain you won't get neuted (or have some kind of ace-in-the-hole), fit the damn injector.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

And, most importantly, it's the most beautiful ship in the game.

It really attracts a lot of attention... which means you get a lot of fights in a short time but you should expect to lose it quickly.
