....about two Vicious old queens !!! Big smile

With Derek Jacobi.

Update: A few more articles: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/tvmagazine/4895029/Sir-Ian-McKellen-and-Derek-Jacobi-star-in-ITVs-new-comedy-Vicious.html

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/29/vicious-old-queens-ian-mckellen_n_2038773.html

Also, the title is actually "Vicious Old Queens", but for some reason the promo shortens it to just "Vicious".

Intriguing that it may move to being an American production as well. Who on Earth in America to cast ???????? Is anyone brave enough? Any elderly comedic American actors out of the closet ? (racks brain).

Looks pretty good. But writing it might get a bit stale after a while.

I do enjoy seeing serious actors like Ian McKellan doing comedy roles though, they carry it off so well.

Really?

I thought it was pretty well known.

I myself was in a car directly behind him during the San Francisco Pride Parade in 2002, the summer after "LOTR:FotR" came out.

He was the Grand Marshall that year.

It was indeed beyond surreal.

I was not sure about Jacobi myself but his Wiki ends with:

"In March 2006, four months after civil partnerships were introduced in the United Kingdom, Jacobi registered his civil partnership with Richard Clifford. They live in Primrose Hill, north London."

I remember watching him on "I, Claudius" in 1976.

I remember doing this with a good friend of mine after he was in shock that Steven Fry was gay.
Long list of people who he didn't no were gay, probably comes from living in the Middle East for so long.

Not really quite sure on this one though, thought he was in a relationship with Daniel Cohen?

If celibate, maybe he and Morrissey should get together Smile

Interesting that one of the writers worked on "Family Guy".

I love the premise - And the clip looks wonderful.

There's the rub, aye. Good witty writing is a highly-valuable and very perishable commodity.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.
