I *KNEW* there was a tech 2 Bantam out there somewhere...

When I had just started playing Eve I remember coming across an agent in a totally unique ship: a Sparrow. It was based on the Bantam but had a tank-like canister sitting between the engines and attached to the back of the main hull. This was back in the days of Classic graphics and I had thought the ship was completely removed (or I was hallucinating) when the graphics were updated. Well Lo and Behold I found the ship again:

Unfortunately my machine dates back to the classic graphics and the picture is in low quality. The agent info screen still clearly states the name of the ship, but the unique model is gone.

Does anyone have pictures of this ship model from the Classic days? I'd like to see it again.

Ah sorry, I guess this question was too obscure. The Sparrow that exists in the game now is just a re-textured Bantam. The one I was thinking of is a unique hull with the canister I was talking about earlier. Ah well.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

It was a mining frigate that was never implemented into the game. Had a -90% CPU bonus to Deep Core Mining lasers allowing it to fit two.

The earliest post I could find referencing this ship is from 2003 so the concept was probably as old as the game itself.
