Well, it's been a year in the making, but it finally happened on a roam through FW space. I lost an Ishkur in the fight, but it counts. Hoping this is just a beginning to a more successful career so far, considering I've lost 15 ships to get here Sad

Well, I was on a roam with my corp and two of them were in the process of killing something else when two vexors showed up, and I was already warping in when they decided to warp out - it was a very incohesive squad we had going on. The vexors scrammed me so I just started shooting. Held off pretty well on my own for a few minutes, then I 'sploded...

Barely a moment after I warped off in my pod, a massive fleet of frigs showed up out of nowhere and finished off the guy that I had softened up for them. So it wasn't actually my kill, but I wasn't involved with the rest of the ships that came in after I exploded. I think the EVE-Kill killmail actually has me as third best damage dealer in a pod P

WTB retroactive mails of all ships saved while flying logi/RR across lowsec, nullsec, w-space & incursions. By god that would add up fast.

I nearly got my first solo tonight. My corp mate caught someone probing in our wh while I was on our way to our low sec static in a Talos. I jumped in and nearly caught a Cormorant at the wh, but he went through so I followed. Couldn't see him on the other side, was D-scanning every most-likely align I could possible find, and the little **** decloaks right underneath me, and warped off to a station just before my targeting finished locking him. I have this incredible bloodlust now, and I'm really itching for that first real kill.

Also, somewhat earlier in the evening, running a pipeline through Devoid, I passed a Cynabal on a gate that tried to lock me. I had no idea what a Cynabal was capable of at that point, but my corp mate in wh told me after I'd already run away that with my fit, I could have easily sniped him :(

So ashamed of myself atm...

Well, just got my second kill... I'm a little bit ashamed of it, though, because... well, i forgot to turn my MWD off once I got in web range, and I had Void loaded, so I barely actually hit it, and my corp mate did most of the damage. Also, if we'd known we were dropping on a badfit, I probably would have taken it solo...

Then again, the shame actually comes from the fact that it was a complete rookie pilot, but I remember gettin blown up a few times in my newb days and learning from each splosion, so hopefully at the very least I've been able to pay forward my learning experience.

If you want solo kills fit a few T1 frigates and go play in FW regions when you get a lowsec k-space entry.

Let us know how it goes. Bots are usually impossible and you have to be really quick even with the human nullbears. But it is so worth it when you catch one Big smile
