Mining corp guide for avoiding the crimes

Just another NPC corp alt!

Here's a simple guide for your average dumbass carebear corp to avoid a wardec and create frustration in deccers. Also for AWOX

A. drop corp. Do it. Make them resort to ganking, can create hilarious tears when they discover they can't kill you anymore
B. don't fight back. Unless you know what the **** you're doing and have good skills, you're inviting yourself to get killed
C. Dock up. can't be killed then! If your in jita, station trade a while.
D. Don't pay ANY ransoms. Ransoms exist to not be honored. You will be killed anyway so just wait to blow up then warp your pod straight away. For wardec ransoms, just drop corp. They probably won't drop the dec anyway.
E. don't rage. We love to see you on pirate blogs and in C&P
F. Decs are used for 3 things: ISK, rage and fun. Deny your deccer these and.. you win.
G. Don't fly around. especially in a non-combat ship. Don't fly around anyway. They will get your CovOps frigates too.

If you do the above then you will be a Wardec/Awox WINNER!

It sounds like you either toss griefdecs yourself, or you were a lot on the recieving end (read: butthurt).

A and B realy makes me crying.
D: we honour our ransoms.
Also: if you don´t "surrender-offer" via corporation the agressor can´t drop the war. If you do, they either can drop OR take the money.

Logic failure right there, ganking is killing someone without using the wardec mechanics, and the tears usually come from the person being ganked, not the person doing the ganking.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

You missed the best way for a mining corp to avoid crime:

Buy a permit from the New Order of the Knights of Halaima.

I'm not Butthurt, nor do I griefdec or AWOX. I just fight in low and laugh at the stupid carebears yet feel pitiful at the same time

Not honouring the ransom is bad for buisness and only retards don't follow through.

the thing is, if you bother to read through popular and successful gank/awox/wardec blogs, such as minerbumping.com or belligerant undesireables you quickly realise that ransoms are just a joke to make your dumb ass pay for your death.

In some scenarios yeah. However there's still people out there that honours ransoms... it's just because idiots who have no clue on how much isk they could make from it, decided to shoot people after, and be like "I IS SMARTS".

I hang out in the Belligerent Undesireables community, and I honor ransoms unless I have a compelling reason not to.

That said, I'm not above asking for a ransom that I have no intention of honoring.

You need to assess why I'm killing you. If it's for profit, I'll honor a ransom. If it's for revenge, I won't. If it's someone else's outsourced revenge, I won't honor a ransom. If it's for the lulz, I'll honor a ransom that makes me laugh but not a normal one.
