One shot battleship kill?

Hi there

I'd like to know if its possible to one shot kill a battleship using a bomber? One shot meaning the the usual one cycle of torpedoes followed by the the actual bomb.

#I'm still training for the support skills and the actual skills for the bomber. Thus I have never flied the bomber and have not used any of its tactics. Though I'm reading and learning. Please feel free to correct any of the above tactics if they are not correct.

A bomb deals 6400 "raw" damage in one go... about 8000 when max bomber skills are applied.

With rather high missile skills torpedos deal about 4000 damage per volley.

That's about 12,000 damage in just one salvo.


However... your average battleship with no tank at all has about 30k hp... more when armor plates or resistance mods are added. Active tanking battleships typically have about 40 to 60k effective hitpoints to chew through... buffer tanking BSs have 120k or more... and these are just the "low-ball" numbers.

no, but you can still dead some serious damage, stealth bombers are nice for softening a fleet up for your gang

there was an old trick i saw someone do once (many years ago)

it consisted of a raven, torps, and an instapop of a trip plated abbadon

Raven was fit for range and speed

Raven MWD towards abbadon from range whilst firing torps

Raven flies roughly at same speed as torps so number of torps in space build up

multiple volleys of same torps hit baddon at same time = alphastrike

Baddon died,


maybe possible with a bomber now but doubt it given torp range nerf ect.

I 'heared' stories about 30km-disrupter-bombers soloing battleships. Just not in 1 volley.
