I Skrewed up. Best place to get plex??

I bought a harvester mining drone for 250 mil ISK. Don't ask me what I was thinking, probably 2 Mill. Well it has almost wiped out my ISK. I'm an idiot, there is no way that thing is worth that. Anyway, lesson learned. Where is the best place to get Plex to convert to isk? I bought them on Amazon last time and it seems now they are 50$ for 3 plex which seems like a lot to me. Any advice? Thanks.

Harvester Drones are expensive because of their rarity. Make it a hangar ornament.

To get ISK:
1. sell the drone, hopefully at a profit.

2. PLEX are only sold via CCP or legit GTC reseller, like Shattered Crystal or Battleclinic/Deep Space Supply (anything else is probably bad -- not saying Amazon is ... just that the seller *may* be using Amazon to RMT, which lands you in a heap of trouble with CCP*). They're $35 or so for two (well, one GTC from the resellers, which can get converted to PLEX).

Best bet for PLEX would be check in your corp/alliance -- they might have an affiliate link for PLEX purchases (they get some RL cash that they then use to pay for TS/forums/etc).

3. Mine/Mission/Rat/Industry/whatever.


* RMT-er will get banned, you get all the ISK taken away, even if it puts you negative.

Thanks for your help. I think the Amazon thing is actually Eve sanctioned. It's not from an indiviual. So I need to sell that thing? Still can't believe I did that.

Well. It's not the worst thing that could happen to a person. You could unload that thing at the drop of a hat for 150 million - you'd be taking a bath on it, but it's not a total loss.

You could potentially get more for it, if you're willing to wait an indefinite amount of time, but you most assuredly overpaid, so you won't recoup it all without getting very lucky.

this. you can sell it into buy orders for about 150mil for a 100 mil loss or put it up on sell yourself and wait a few weeks, maybe months till it is sold.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Nope, you can keep the drone as a hangar ornament. Same as with any other "special" item that is/was in the game (mines, their BPOs, AT ships, faction gift ships like the Apotheosis or Quafe Iteron, etc)

Definitely resell the drone.

For buying plex - Best used to be shattered crystal, but they went bankrupt last month.

Now it's markus dragon.

Get it through the somer site, you pay USD$35 for 2 plex and the free credit they give. 150m right now. http://cogdev.net/blink
