Just moved out to tenal, and I need some knowlege on guristas rats. Not the basics, they do kinetic damage, with some thermal blended in.

I wanna speak to a pro, some one who prides themselves on efficiently printing isk out there.

please convo or mail me if you have detailed knowlege of guristas rats.

It's simple: in terms of sheer profitability vs. difficulty Guristas Forsaken Hubs are the best. They only spawn cruisers, battle cruisers, and battleships. None of them jam and they all spawn in close proximity to the entry point. Now if you're getting up in to DED's or sanctums you will either need an Ishtar with sentry drones or a buddy with a beefy tank. In both instances missiles or rails coming in handy as you warp in ~90km from the rats.. There's nothing really unique about guristas other than their ECCM jamming on select elite cruisers, frigates, and pith eliminators. No mail because meh.

Is in an alliance which has been living in Gurista space for four of the last five (?) years... What to do?

If only there were alliance forums :-(

Perhaps you meant "none of them warp disrupt/scramble"? Cruisers in the 4th spawn of a Forsaken Hub do ECM "Jam".

Although if you can get a tanky Tengu then you can solo Sanctums, back when I was in Branch some of my Corp mates used Tengus to solo them and they could tank them very effectively, they never had shield problems. Sanctums have jammers and scrammers so you need to watch yourself.

OMG, none of this is the knowledge I want. I want real tried and tested knowledge.

1. I just moved here, and used to live here as a noob renter, before white noise steam rolled the area My Ishtar/stealth bomber combo of ratting yielding me 60 mil an hour is far behind me. If its not at least 150 mil an hour, I'm doing something wrong.

I wanted things like. systematic approach to the maze. I know there is one, but I don't know what it is, and I cant seem to find it on the internet.
The fundamentals of carrier ratting, firbolg, dragon fly, sentries.
Spawning ranges
How much of a difference does using thermal over kinetic damage?
Best tandem set up
What's the magical sensor strength number to never be jammed.
Why have I always single vollied npc rogue drone frigates, but the guristas ones are taking 3 shots. (note, ive changed to the appropriate ammo)

I see people on my forums boasting about 35 mil ticks from talos ratting. I've never considered ratting in a talos, but meh, I'm open minded.

I wanted to have a good convo about different strategies to use. this "use a 650 dps tengu" makes me puke in my mouth, and maybe I hate you. If it doesn't dish out over 1000 dps, and apply it well, it doesn't qualify. (I'm still puking in my mouth right now over the well tanked tengu comment) Tank is never an issue.

My forums are "Ok", but arnt the depth of knowledge that I'm looking for.
still puking for the response of the thread.

Here's some real, tried, tested forum knowledge for you:

Insulting the first ones to comment on your thread, referring to your own bodily functions, and generally being a rude ass when you're asking for help - none of it attracts the experts.

I was willing to answer your post, but this wise man is right. This is a forum, we owe you nothing, you dont pay us, we dont know you. So either take what people are offering or go figure it out yourself.
There is a systematic approach to the maze, but no one will share it outside corp or alliance. There are answers to everything you ask for, but dont expect anyone to tell you worthy answers now that you treated them like yesterday poop.

The funny bit, as stated earlier is that he has joined one of those alliances, yet he still comes to this forum to ask questions which both his corp and alliance mates should be perfectly capable of answering.

If you don't use the knowledge base of your peers in a MMO, why not just play some single player game?

If I recall correctly the RZR forum even has a PVE department/PVE fits to avoid these kinds of terrible posts making the alliance look bad.

Then again RZR's current level of PVE losses kinda does that to them already (*pokes RZR*) Big smile

He probably puked in his mouth few times in the alliance chat so no one will talk to him anymore.

There's an entire section in the RAZOR forums dedicated to PVE. "Carebear Rehabilitation Center." There is all the information you will need in there and an answer is simply a post away.
