Tune in to our Twitch channel today at 16:00 GMT for a chat with Lead Game Designer CCP Soundwave, Associate Producer in Game Development CCP Sysiphus, Technical producer in Game Development CCP Solomon and Art Producer CCP Mannbjorn.

They'll take questions about EVE Game design and this is your opportunity to get down to the nitty gritty as we'll have the senior and executive producers on next week to discuss the big picture.

We'll be taking questions from this thread as well as from Twitter, Facebook and of course the Twitch chat channel.

So in other words...shoot!

Will everyone be wearing shoes?

More seriously:

Do we have an ETA for CREST? Or even just the OAUTH2 portion of it?

When will wormhole mechanics be fixed in regards to people using hisec as a tank?
Will there be a limited engagement timer applied to combat in WH's so actual combat occurs instead of people jumping back into HS in structure and becoming virtually untouchable without taking a massive sec loss and losing your ship.

Ooo. wormhole jammers. So you can activate a module stopping anyone entering the wormhole from your side while it's active. Smile

Are you planning to kill those laggy and horribly optimized dust clouds before they kill our hardware? If "yes", will we see any progress on this matter in Odyssey release?

Can we expect CCP Rise to never ever be allowed to make a ship balancing post ever again? Seriously, leave that stuff to CCP Fozzie, because we love Fozzie, he's made awesome balancing changes.

That's an interesting idea, but I'm more inclined towards the limited engagement timer set up considering it's already in use in losec.
The jammer adds an extra mechanic to a problem that shouldn't be there in the first place.

1. When are we going to see Lasers with different damage types? PvE wise lasers are the worst weapon system because of fixed damage type and 70% of rats having high EM/Therm resists.
2. Will there be a T2/Faction version of Reactive Armor Hardener?
3. Show us the new Apoc model!

Whatever.

Will there really be rebalancing of tier 2 and t2 battlecruisers and introduction of navy issue versions?

With the introduction of T2 Siege and T2 triage to Dreadnoughts and Carriers one group of capital ships was left out.

Will we be seeing a T2 Industrial Core, and when could we expect to see one?

Secondly, it has been quite some time, however it was mentioned (2+ years ago) the introduction of T3 frigates and battleships. Will this become a reality? And if so when could we expect it on SiSi or Tranquility?

When are we going to get Space Elves in the game?

More serious, but really minor stuff:
- Will the in-game browser ever support HTML5? It'd be pretty bangin' to be able to watch Youtube videos without having to tab out of the game or play in windowed mode.
- I've seen some discussion about this going around, but I haven't seen a definite answer: will we ever, or say, sometime within the next decade of Eve Online, actually be able to walk around on stations or ships?

1. Why does Heavy Interdictor need sensor calibration time after de-cloack to put up the sphere when there is no target to be targeted? Interdictor does not have this issue and works on same principle.

2. Why does Heavy Interdictor have immediate aggression when sphere is up and Interdictor does not?

Thank you.

id say bubbles should do that, in the same capacity that itd stop a jump bridge from operating, the disruptive effect of interdiction bubbles should screw up a wormholes entropy.

though i can see an issue with statics being bubbled so that c6 wh dwellers dont have to keep chain collapsing, but just rely on anchored bubbles stopping travel all the time, to keep themselves relatively safe.

its a nice idea but open to a lot of abuse. :(

QFT.

Yeah, Kin damage should be added to lazers for sure. I loved the idea of LUX crystals, but it should be Kin damage not Expl. Why those crystals are kept in beta stage?

What are you gonna do about the "Walk in stations project". Seems it has been post poned for quite a long time now.
And I don't mean about the captain quarters. I mean the actual Walk in stations.

Adding an option to remove those dust clouds would be great. I can run smooth at max but then hit 3 fps with one cloud on screen :( forces you to look away or lower settings

ive 2 questions:

1) whats the current state of the long ago mentioned "brain in a box" feature that CCP Veritas had been working on?

(it was meant to be a way of reducing lag on servers when many people enter a system or undock etc... with the server calling other tertiary servers for information on all the characters attributes and skills)

2) how massively deadly and knotted is the current Overview legacy code? has any devs personally observed the famed overview bug? and are we going to see iterations on the overview code other than cosmetic UI changes?

Are we going to see rapid increase in amount of different kind of missions?

Meaning, instead of getting perhaps same mission offered by same agent second time in a row, wouldnt it be nice to know one has to go even perhaps 1000 different missions through to get that same again?

Would bring a lot of variety to mission runners, would guess largest group in game.

Yeah that would great! I am in favor of this option since its very frustrating when our ships got blown just because it takes a second or two to click and activate a module due to horrible lag. Hope it will be added in the next patch.
