Seems there's strong support for a cap booster so I'm changing the web for a Small Capacitor Booster II with Navy 400 charges, and I'm also switching the A-Type Explosive Plating for a C-Type Energized Explosive Membrane which gives a nice boost to the tank.

[Proteus, All In One Hunter copy]

This is basically the one I'm going to fly for my first run with this Proteus fit. Thanks for all the advice guys, you guys are awesome! Wish me luck :)

Trying it out the fits on the test server beforehand helps as well.

If you're going to fit a cap booster then there's no point in using a passive explosive resistance mod instead of a hardener. The defensive benefit is just far too great, esp since you can overload a single hardener for like 6 minutes.

I've honestly never done something like that, how is it in the test server? Will there be an opportunity to hunt people or are there simply not that many people in WHs so I have to try my luck elsewhere?

@Kodama
Thanks for that, I haven't flew many armor tanks in pvp so I'm kinda bad with it, I'll be sure to use an active hardener.

Something else that hasn't been mentioned yet....tho you need to ask yourself how much you are going to fly blaster ships....

Take a hard look at the slot 8 Hardwire MH-805.....5% damage for under 20m (last time I checked), as well as the slot 9 SS-903/5 for a nice dps bump.

Thanks for bringing that up, initially I planned on using that implant in slot 8 but I realized I already have a 10% scan probe strength implant in that slot, considering how fast I scan something can have an impact on if I get a kill or not I wonder if the 5% damage implant is worth it over the scan strength implant, for the other implants I think I'm using the SS-903, an align time implant in slot 7, 3% electronics in slot 6 (for my Sabre though if there's something more valuable to the Proteus to slot in here call it out), and some random implant in slot 10 (missile damage I think).

Don't forget the hull upgrades 3 or 5% wire for the slot 10. Well worth considering.
