The truth is that since the sanctums nerf there is a lot less isk being made this has led to a few things such as

Renters no longer being able to afford there rent

More and More nullsec people have a highsec alt running missions for them. I know loads of nullsecers who do this.
I dont normally troll, but when i do i do it on General Discussion.

Some people like being a number, like being lemmings (and amazingly proudly point at others about being insignificant). some people refuse being a number and/or being used. They will want a plausible explanation for the things they do and pay for the corp. There's a difference between trying to leech your way into things and requiring explanation for money/effort paid.

If the corp operates on a full reimbursement program then, depending on their moon income, I'll fully accept medium to higher tax. If the corp takes care of me I'm more than happy to take care of the corp. But the silly notion where CEO's go "quiet peon, slave for your measly amount of iskies while protecting my vast moongoo imperium" is hilarious, yet many people seem to agree to it.

TL;DR the OPs question has merit and is not at all about him being a cheapskate.

im talking about tax rates.

Ever since ive been in this game ive sat in corporations with no tax. I supply my own ships for pew pew and i make all my own isk. i dont pay for other peoples mistakes only my own.

I would like to go to nullsec but i just cant find it in my heart to pay 15% tax to a nullsec corp.

1. Corp Taxes in any decently run organization go directly to Corp/Alliance Support, POS Towers, System Upgrades, Sov. Costs, Ship replacement Programs, Cap Ship Programs, etc. None of that is free.

2. Not eveyone used a 15% rate. I pay 10%, other pay 5%, and I've corps that charge nothing (instead using Moon Mining or other revenue streams to fund operations). So yes, they exist.

3. Your attitude of apparent unwillingness to share in your chosen Corp/Allainces growth, development and finances speaks to an inabillity to get along in a null-sec social group, and may be far more of a problem than the paltry tax amounts you'll end up paying. Null is not a single-player game, generally. And part fo the majority of null-teamwork is some aspect of economic/millitary collectivism.

I think people like being apart of something bigger. fighting for a common cause, bragging rights, history. Think of the groups that have left their mark on the game, M0o, Curse Alliance, BoB, Red alliance. 15% is just cost of admission. Who remembers anyone in High Sec?Blink
