32GB one. np

As long as you can fit the full installation I never had any issues (unless it's related to permissions to write to the profile folder)

I believe the current version is somewhere around 12GB, so you should be okay.

I've never had any trouble running from a flash drive or SD card.

Check to ensure that the install directory isn't full of temporary files, like old patches and the other bits and pieces that (still, for some reason) doesn't get saved to your personal temp directory.

You can reduce the size by deleting some big files from previous installations. Unfortunately I forgot which files that were.

Please explain more? My flash drive is 16gb and has about 13 gb free. The install says I need 18gb to install...but when I check my CCP folder under programs it's only 11gb.

You'll get no argument from me. My work consists of 90% waiting as my projects automate themselves to the next phase, hence why I'm on the forums in my cubicle as we speak. Just sayin, gonna happen. Grow some and learn to hide your install.

I have a 64 GB flash drive I've used. The only different thing is that it is formatted NTFS instead of VFAT so I can put files larger than 2 GB onto it, but I don't think EVE has that problem.

The client is about 11.1 GB. I just copied the folder from my desktop PC, I didn't install to the USB flash drive. Works fine.

You'll want to install it somewhere that has plenty of space then figure out what files you can delete.

Or buy a 32g drive.

Yeah, like Tau said, you can literally just copy your desktop installation, as a finished install is smaller than the space required to install it (because that includes temporary files and such). When you run it on a new PC, it'll start with all the settings at default, but after that it'll remember them on that PC (unless you clean whatever handles that).

Also worth noting that it'll automatically create a folder in My Documents (assuming Windows) containing any screenshots and log files. If someone who doesn't appreciate you playing is likely to poke around, remember to delete it when you're done.

When I was at school, flash drive?

Only flash we knew was Flash Gordon.
