Are shareholders still targets of bumping? Does being a shareholder (and being active while mining) exempt you from 'The Code'.

Everyone needs to buy a mining permit, which is a separate purchase.

More new shareholders today, and over the 64 billion mark! Smile

So this is just a 'protection' scam against miners dressed up as an anti-botting crusade? Or do non-afk miners get a pass?

What kind of dividen's do shareholders get? What's return of investment? Or is it just a protection bribe?

If you would have read the code you would notice that every miner in highsec has to buy a mining permit. The reason is simple. We can never tell if someone is using a bot or not and as the new order is a very fair community we treat all players the same.
All informations you will find on www.minerbumping.com

The return rate is the good feeling of supporting an idea for a better eve.
You can see it as a donation, or as an investment in the future of a better eve.
Both sounds nice :)

If saving highsec is "jazzhands", then I don't know what to tell you. Roll

Another new shareholder today, and a candidate for CSM8 at that. Can you guess which one? Smile

I could not, and would not, admit what I know not to be true. What?

A couple new shareholders today. Respectable. Every one counts. Smile

Why would I need protection from the New Order of High-Sec? I'm not a miner.

Ever jump in a line cause you saw a whole bunch of other people in line? That's this thread.

Wish James would let this thread die with some integrity intact. But then again, if I was a 1 trick pony, I'd probably milk that 1 trick for all it was worth.

Watching grown men rage impotently over a video game is hilarious.

Watching grown men think they are grown men while playing internet space-men is also hilarious.

Come on now, man. You all have a decent racket going and the ISK for the boss man is obvious, but overall this whole idea is pretty childish and is an excuse for lame-ass people to pick on those that arent in a position to defend themselves. I dont see you tough guys doing this anywhere near low sec, right?

Silly kids.

The thing is, James315 "rages" almost as much as they do (it's evident in a number of his posts on the site). The only difference is that he implicitly excuses himself by pretending that it's not the same thing if you're roleplaying a douchebag. He is the ultimate carebear, an even bigger carebear than any of his targets.

So what? He and his merry band of RP'ers write funny **** on their blog which makes me laugh. I find value in it because it's entertaining. Small price in imaginary space cash to pay.

Why are you so worried about how people perceive them? Are you jealous of their e-fame?

No, I'm puzzled as to why a MD investors would dole out cash to them in the first place. If the answer is because the whole thing--including James315's closet-bittervet rage dressed up as RP--is entertaining in a peripheral, dada-esque sense, then I get that. If the answer is because I have too much cash and nothing better to spend it on, I guess I understand that, too. But if the answer is because I genuinely feel like the "tears" of these miners, all by themselves, are worth it, then I dispute that person's notion of what entertainment is, and the value they place on it.

vOv Grown men crying is hilarious ****. Who are you to tell me what to find funny, or for that matter how to play EVE?

Nobody is telling you what to find funny or how to play EVE. What I'm telling you is that what you find funny isn't actually funny, and the way you play EVE is stupid. I wouldn't deign to suggest how you go about your business.
