What is a good fight fleet?

I can't speak for anyone else but, usually, when I go looking for a good fight.....I always make sure that I have lots of brew, a clear calender for the next 48 to 72hours and at least 200 guys in tow with no less than 10 guardians......and of course power rolling.....don't forget that....screw probing out a chain or anything.....just roll that static every 5 minutes for 24hrs! Ah yes, that's a good fight fleet, indeed.

confirming 10 guardians is the best way to get a good fight. especially when your only fighting 10 guys. to maximize good fights id recommend 1 logi for every hostile pilot.

Hey now, that would be a good fight for the side with the logis, as long as they only bring logis. There is such a thing as hilaritycomps for fleets, all logi is one of the most hilarious of them all.

Fair fights are a myth, and wrong, and stupid, but a good fight does not need to be fair.

However there is a lot of good fights out there. I miss the old 15v15 lasting for hours, WH space seems to depend more and more on numbers which is a shame, rather than tactics and balance of DPS/neuts/ECM and so on. At least this is what I feel about C6 space.

As for true good fights....they do exist in Eve but they are not easy to find and usually require a bit of faith with a sprinkle of deathwish.

However..i do agree with this...it seems we have shifted to a "get it done and go on to the next one attitude" I can remember haveing small 5v5 fights in earlier corps that would last 30min or more..

And just to clarify...when i said GF's were a myth...i meant fair..i have had plenty of good fights that I lost...but left with a smile..maybe even a happy ending too Big smile

Something like this? Could have gone either way really, but definitely not the norm.

The T3 armor fleets with 20 DPS (mix of proteus, legion and web lokis, maybe an armor ecm tengu or 2 for funs) with 4-5 Guardians and at least 1 bhaalgorn is really the normal for your typical C5-C6 fleet and has been for awhile now.
