Where the heck is it?
OHhhhhh..... so you are going to port it to PC YEARS later like what you did with L.A Noire ?
Ehh? Rockstar?
Or will it not be coming to PC at all??
Over 166k people have signed a petition on Chang.org since Janurary this year , calling for GTA 5 to be released on PC.
Yet ,as of April , there is yet to be a move on Rockstar's part.

last sentence about the PC era, unnecessary

about the possibility it is not being released on PC: has piracy concerns written all over it.

that said, I will be playing the PS3 version. I'm waiting for my 360 to die, and I have it set up just for the look of it

A simple google will bring up countless such sites , regardless of platform.
Regardless of DRM , or whatever measures taken by the developers .
There will ALWAYS be a loophole

Too bad , the developers are slowly abandoning the platform which propelled to where they are today.
We can even look at something closer to home .
DUST for example.
PS3 exclusive.

Still no real explanation towards why is it a PS3 exclusive when the very so called "voice coms issue" can be entirely elimination by keeping the game on PC and letting players sort it out using 3rd party programs like Mumble and TS3 .. as EvE is .

Well Rockstar isn't giving me ANYTHING to work on and is being tight lipped about their development decisions .
So I guess perhaps looking at CCP which is a comparatively MUCH more outspoken developer will give us some clue to why are the developers neglecting the PC platform in the recent years?
But seeing even CCP doesn't answer why is it not coming to PC head on as asked by many of the EvE community ... makes me wonder.... what is going on ??

When we look at the Game software revenue records and projection by Nvidia , the PC gaming market share has been burgeoning since steadily increasing since 2008 , while the console market is stuck at the 20-25 billion mark.

On a separate study by Ignite Game Technologies
In addtion to find PC market is still dominating the market and is projected to do so for many years to come.
They found out that PC gamers spend more time , more money and is generally much cheaper than the console counterparts.
In other words , they are more "hardcore".
Which when we relate back to the DUST case , means they might have a higher chance of trying EvE . A hardcore community based MMORPG .

Bringing us to the GTAV case , that'll mean Rockstar maybe able to churn out a much better revenue:cost ratio as compared to cross platforming .
Their coding will be better as don't don't have to port the game (as seen in GTA4's case where excessive coding caused poor performance on the PC platform)
Which means a much more polished game and regaining the goodwill of the community .
(L.A Noire and GTA 4 was a big disappointment due to performance issues)

Yet , they still aren't doing it

Well no double branding in one way.

There is no head studio for PCs, as the executives of game companies can't meet the executives of the PC and talk about the future and plans and help each other out.

Nvidia and intel are trying to be the CEO of PCs. So game companies might get with them. But dell and stuff suck, so no game company wants to team up with them to launch a product as well.

Go with Xbox and PS3 meet lots more execs and business people. PC would be hard to plan for and have future vision really.

Well you make the PC sound so distractionary. Gotta have some single focus to help propel, and there are so many parts to the PC it gets confusing. I mean buy a pc to game, but then spend all you money on music or something not on games. If you buy an PS3 have to buy games, or you feel you are wasting it. More money.

The nice part though is all the talk about what parts the PS4 and new xbox will be using and how PC like they are.
