I was wondering if anyone can enlighten me about the coalitions in the south?

The Verite influence maps don't show "coalitions" (or however it is called) only alliances.

To which coalition do these guys belong to?

01. Tribal band
02. Unclaimed
03. Walltreipers
04. Cha Ching
05. Insidious Empire
06. Ethereal Dawn
07. Insidous Associates
08. The Initiative
09. Initiative associates
10. Nulli Secunda
11. Hun Reloaded
12. Northern Coalition
13. Pangu Coalition
14. Mildly Intoxicated
15. The Kadeshi
16. S2N Citizens
17. Red Alliance
...
etc.

I'm not trying to spy or something I just would like to know if these guys are all in one coalition...

-

I see there is an unclaimed space in the south, what is with that?

How many fractions are there in total in 0 sec?
I guess
Test, Goons, Solar are the 3 "big" 0 sec fractions? Or is Solar with someone?

Is HBC part of Test, or is Test a part of the HBC?...

Any info would be welcome.

P.s. I tried to post this in the Corporation, Alliance & Organisitions Center subforum, but I couldn't start a thread there... What?

Some parts of Null are NPC Null so aren't Sovereigntied by players.
However I too would like to know if there is any coalition maps. The sov map is fantastic, but knowing what coalition is holding what space would be great too...

Dingo's FC toolbox is awesome

Great for scouting / recon duties by doing D-scan posts and Local posts.

Thank you for the reply! Big smile

This is a really a great link!

I would have three more questions:
Why isn't Verite's map, coloured to show these infos?
In what relation are HBC and N3?

How can a corp called Gentleman's Agreement be allied with "the" Goons? I've heard the Goons aren't Gentlemans? Or am I misinformed or something?

It isn't coloured because Coalitions are nothing that officially exist in EVE.

There is no game mechanics that says in which coalition you are etc.
It's truly a player made thing, it's players working together.

Also...the name of a corporation / alliance doesn't mean anything.

Welcome to 0.0 politics.
The problem is that often the relations between alliances are much too complex to be represented by a single "these are a coalition".
Examples: There are alliances that shoot each other most of the time (being neutral), however, work together to fight a common enemy, sometimes ad hoc. Sometimes single alliances inside a coalition have standings to external entities, while the rest of the coalition does not. Then there are the differences between NIPs and NAPs...

Like mentioned before, Verite chose to stick to hard data, and not have a (potentially biased) human decide how to group entities on the map.

I think the area in the 'south' that you are seeing might be the Stain? I think that is Sansha NPC territory? But I dunno I am trying to sort this too and these are extremely helpful answers.

The space you see in the south belongs to Unclaimed., an alliance which is a member of Dinner Squadron coalition. It's not actually NPC space, they just have a funny sense of humor. (Hence their ticker: TROLL)

There is actual NPC space in null, but the sovereignty shows something like 'Serpentis', etc.
