I have read posts and comments about a mapping site that shows various WH connections in real time. I tried googling and I can't find it or at least i don't know which one it is. Can someone link it for me so I can check it out?

Most of the big wormhole alliances have their own tool however, due to not completely being able to know who has access to the data on a third-party site.

Due to them being paranoid, since it has been stated over and over again that the only person who has access to the data is the creator of the tool, Messoroz. Surprisingly, despite his many, many obvious shortcomings he is extremely good at keeping the data confidential.

Well, yes I guess paranoia does factor into it, it's also nice to develop your own tool in response to your alliance members' requests though.

If you're paranoid about your data, you can also run the tool I wrote for my alliance on your own box, but hosting your own is a lot more complicated than using a service like Siggy.

Making your own allows you to make it do what you want it to. Different corps have different needs. Some corps don't have code jockeys and need to use someone elses program.

The ideal way is to write your own in house version so you can yell at the coder on comms when you want to make it different. I like to yell at folks on comms, so I'm in favor of home grown.

I would yell at our in-alliance coder, but I'm certain he has some sort of magical powers. Voodoo is really the only logical explanation for what he's able to pull off with our mapping tool.
