I like to see the ship can enter the plant that have HQ and I want to fly the fighter in future! and I really want to work around in the space ship and on the planet surface!

Might as well include Space stations too. That's the message I got.

Anyway, a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away...............CCP had a ship doing atmospheric flight. That was quite a few years ago, back when they also previewed having Avatars walking in stations with Player Owned Shops, Corporate Conference Rooms, Alliance Command Centers, etc. otherwise known as Ambulation.

The ground work was done, then scrapped, then re-started again, then shelved, then changed with new direction, then scrapped again. There was probably a few more starts and stops along the way but you get the general idea. Just google WiS, Ambulation, Avatars, Captains Quarters, 2011 Jita Riots for more info.

As of right now, don't expect that content to happen for at least a couple more years.

i want to play with people who respect the lore and understand practical limitations to a game engine. aswell as those who come up with BENEFICIAL gameplay specific to their request.

but no, i get this, spring-santa owes me a refund.


and as for atmospheric flight with the ships we CURRENTLY HAVE, they are all either too large or too non-atmospheric-flight-design to enter the atmosphere. not to mention their propulsion systems dont give the kind of thrust you would need to rpactically enter/exit a planetary encironment.

spaceships designed and built IN SPACE, have no reason to enter the atmosphere, they are built in space for a reason, with the efficiency of SPACE TRAVEL in mind, not atmospheric flight.

besides, until DUST is changed to CARBON, or EVE to the UNREAL engine (which would eb horrible, i hate unreal), you couldnt even interact with dust players.

lets not even forget the need for icnreased server-ticks to compensate for atmospheric flight and moving into a DUST environment, on top of the exponential server load of incorpating full atmospheric environments for all 25,000 or so planets.

I too dreamt of doing the same when I first started playing but what was present in game was still miles ahead of other MMO's. One day in the future sometime CCP will get round to adding....everything Big smile

You should really try to put your sentences together in a readable way, took me like three tries to see what you were getting at. Flying spaceships into planet orbit would be a super massive implementation that could completely change eve, I doubt you'll see that anytime soon. Keep EVE about EVE.

Exactly how they survive basic acceleration baffles me never mind re-entry. Twisted

Two of the defining characteristics of a carebear are wanting other players to play the way the carebear wants and whining on the forums for the game to change when they don't. Yet I see more threads on these forums from gankers than I do miners whining about wanting the game changed to suit them.
