From this, Caldari Prime will become a corporate world. However, from the Gallente government and history articles in the EVElopedia, it was mentioned that Caldari Prime is run by nation-states who are members of the Federation.

Can we assume that these nation-states were abolished by the Caldari State when they invaded in 110, and instead replaced by whatever the Caldari use for local planetary governance? This would explain why the Gallente districts are now under the administration of a corporation, no? Rather than the previous governments.

From what I remember reading was that even though Caldari Prime (in the beginning) had nation States that the Corporations had superseded the local governments and that the politicians were little more than cronies of what I could only assume was the major corporate entity in that particular nation.

I kinda have a problem with Ishukone having been given complete control over the management of the Caldari districts (and the division as a whole but thats another thing all together) but I imagine given Ishukone's policy in Placid and Intaki that they will work pretty closely to the local governments rather than out right banning or dissolving them.
