I blindly followed the tacit advice of my null-sec overlords, and voted for all null-sec candidates. (With the addition of that RVB guy, because constant PVP is never a bad thing.)

Fix POSes.  Every player should want one (even if all players can't have one).

The CSM is what it is. It's not omnipotent, but there's a middle ground between omnipotence and total irrelevence. No other game company engages with the player base at nearly such an involved level. So what's the argument for not getting the most we can out of the opportunity?

I don't agree with Malcanis on some things. On others, I feel he's right on. He's right on here.

The fact of the matter is, apathy like this precludes a CSM doing what a CSM needs to do. When the players put their wallets behind the CSM (See CSM 6), CCP will listen. For that to happen, the CSM needs to be united and active.

Quoted for Truth.

When you don't participate, you are in effect saying "Do what you will, 'cause I can't be bothered to look out for my own interests."

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

The 'Submit Vote' button isn't working. On rollover it links to javascript:void(0);

Why can't we go back to paper ballots? j/k but seriously would like to be able to vote....?

If you are having trouble hitting submit after reloading your candidate list, try dragging down one of your choices and then moving the choice back up. This may fix the issue.

I voted, but was offended at the lack of checkboxes.

I tried voting but nothing happens, its saving my list but clicking submit doesnt do anything, Ive tried doing the fix CCP Dolan suggested but it isnt helping.

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

We are deploying a fix shortly. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I voted, though it felt much like a presidential election. I wasn't really excited by any of the candidates this year so I voted for people that seemed least likely to be annoying (which means no Goons).

Anyway, who knows. I might end up pleasantly surprised by the next CSM.

Not voting until it's proven that they serve a purpose. Putting a soapbox inder someone so he can scream his idea a bit louder is not what I consider a good system to vote into.

The game seems much more run by subscription than good idea so the only CSM member who can have any power in there is the one who would get abcked with thousands of "I quit" messages to force CCP's hand.

Can we sell our vote?

You might actually try reading the CSM notes at some point. Lots of big words though, sorry.

Normally I would say I pushed the botton, but it was more of a "I had to search for my own name then finally found it and did that thirteen more times."

Still voted though, and there's a few nifty aids like this one for people who haven't yet: http://bit.ly/11sbEVs

Not sure if you have ever bothered to follow the CSM, read the minutes, or anything else, but they do indeed serve a purpose. CCP uses them as a sounding board for secret projects they're working on, as a less troll-some way of asking about player needs, as a mining ground for ideas, and as a PR tool.

CCP does take the CSM's opinions and advice into account. That doesn't mean that the CSM's direction is always followed, but they do at least listen. I'm sure that past CSM members would vouch for that.

If CCP didn't find the CSM to have some real benefit to Eve then they wouldn't be spending the time and money doing all of this. It's expensive in terms of man hours and additional spending.
