Hey all I just started eve because of some videos I had watched on youtube. I have gotten into game for the purpose to get into some pvp action. I am looking for a player willing to show me the ropes and fly with me, so that I may learn from them and my mistakes. Looking forward to meeting some people. :)

Crap an LF thread

But in all seriousness contact the Red vs Blue alliance in game

or http://rvbeve.com/forums/index.php/index

and go from there PvP is all they do and they are newbie friendly.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

brave newbies, RvB, eveuni... good places to start off, the all have very different mindsets but all focus on newer players.

What ever you do don't go to eve-uni. RvB like everyone else said, is probably the best place to start. FW can also be good for newer players if you find a good corp, but could be something to aim for after a few months in RvB. Faction Warfare would give you the full pvp experience of stalking prey, burning several systems to help someone with something shiny talked, etc etc but is a bit off for noobs as a lot of people are dumb and assume any noob is a spy.

Our corp doesn't let people in until they are relatively self sufficient in PvP. If, however, you have any questions about PvP feel free to open a conversation with me any time I am on and I will be more than happy to answer any questions you have.

Most new players wont bother to ask for help, they just decide they can't do it and give up. You have the right idea, and so you will do well in Eve.

If you litterally just want to do PvP, then RvB is by far the best place to learn.

Lots of cheap ships, lots of group fights and lots of people to give you advice and help.

Good luck.

Edit: Just saw your latest post - ignore what I said ;)

and remember
if you can fly a rifter
and can use a point
and do not mind loosing that rifter

Than you are in with rhe big boys

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

RVB will teach you to pvp,

eve uni will teach you to, lock,f1,f2,f3,etc..

i'm yet to meet a ex-uni thats good at solo pvp.
RVB produce alot better pvp'ers.

what if i'm not only looking for pvp, but also exploration or some other stuff?
also i'm not able to play everyday and I play since only 1-2 weeks... any problems for RvB?

RvB don't care how often you log in and play, as long as you explode occasionally it's all good. It's a very casual arrangement where you can leave to do something else for a while, and then rejoin when you fancy shooting at other people.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
