Hello All,
I have been spending a lot of time cloaked up in wormholes lately just watching. Most of the Questions that come to mind during my observations are usually answered by the normal means; google, eve forums, common sense, and just plain reading. :)

The Question I want to ask is: What are the reasons for just parking a bunch of shuttles at your POS?
I have seen this frequently when a corp is setting up a POS or even when the POS has been long setup, they just leave them there inside the shield. When I pondered this myself I came up with a possible reason could be to clutter up dscan so those dscanning would have to scroll through a list of ships, or possibly having the shuttles aligned to a safe or an exit wormhole to make for a quick align and warp out. I came up with a few other possibilities as well and then finally decided that I would just ask you all. :)

First of all... A stationary boat "aligned" to the direction of a safe or a wormhole will still take just as long to align to the destination as a stationary boat facing the opposite direction. It's simply so that once the people have brought in junk for that POS, they have fast boats at their disposal so that they can get out and fetch more.

Probably left over from when people went out by pod to k-space, got a few things (updated clone, implants, skills) then took a shuttle back.

THough a possibility is to uncloak scouts warping to them while they get pos online. SHuttle bombs from launch an orcas ship maintenance bay full of shuttles uncloaks people rather well

Little trick with the grid. If you fill the grid with thousends of them, you could actually hear the server crying.
