Ive just read a very good article in the MITTANI called "Bringing life to high sec:Tying worlds together.By Sevetlana Scarlet
So im posting here in the hope that a DEV or someone from CCP will see this post and READ IT To my mind it sets out a great vision for EVE ,and i hope that CCP will in its coming expansions move towards that vision.A vision wheres there are consequences whether you live in high,low or null Consequences for picking to play as a Gelente,Caldai or Amarr and Minamater .Anyway heres hoping a dev actually READS the article

The Mittani is like reading The People's Daily or Pravda. Sure it maybe interesting sometimes, but there is quite a bit of propaganda and bias for obvious reasons.

Why would I want to read what someone blogged? We have many forums here for commentary. If it's a dissenter yeah I see there's a reason to blog offsite, but if it's the status quo who only likes the sound of his own voice and views...no.

Got a viewpoint share it with all, and be willing to face the criticism even.

Congratulations, you've just described every source of news in the history of ever.

i don't quite get it, do people just read internal alliance updates on TMC and decry it as propaganda despite the disclaimers at the top saying "look this was meant for internal consumption, take it with a grain of sand"

or do they not read anything there because they're afraid of our mind control

Bluntly put - you will find no new content on that site.

It is mostly a refined, albeit biased, presentation of ideas that have been hashed over for the better part of a decade on these and the old forums.

As such, you end up with a "Readers Digest" condensed version vs having to sift through all the sh... err... quality posts out here.

You simply get the biased presentation that they put forth in an area where others don't get to call BS on it as part of the "article" - such as these forums offer.

So for everyone complaining TMC is a Goon propaganda site, try looking at who writes the articles and their backgrounds.
Sure there are posts by Mittani and other Goon entities which you can take with a grain of salt and accept will be high in propaganda, however there are also articles written by other people who are not affiliated with Goons at all.

The writer of this article is a long time EVE player (since beta I believe) and has no love for Goons, seeing as she is part of the Provi-Block which is one of the entities in EVE who are not friendly to the blue doughnut.

I would recommend reading her other articles on there as well, she has some great ideas (though extreme) about how the game could be improved.

And you have personal knowledge of this? Or it's just an "everyone knows" 'fact' you posted without ever checking?

who would've thought!

the mittani may be biased as loaded dice but at least it has reasonably intelligent articles unlike en24 who just copy and pastes that terrible goblin guy's spew every week.

if i'm going to be indoctrinated at least the mittani has the good graces to do it with some eloquent articles instead of copy and pasted badposting.
