I just realized this, and found it to be AMAZING. We miners can now jetcan mine in peace (mostly)
If someone flips your can, just scoop it up.

Apparently if the person has a suspect timer, their cans can be looted freely (you won't get s suspect timer) Lol

Not that it mattered much anyway, with the buff to the retriever's ore holding abilities, but I still found this to be cool P

Seriously, you don't even have to turn your safety off. Imo, its about time they make a mechanic work in favor of the guy who doesn't want to pvp

basicly doe 2 reasons
first alot of miners got smarter
second those so called Elite PVPERS are scared to death of being shot by somebosdy who is actually better than them
well you know..... can you imagine their shame and embarrasment if they have to tell their corpmates that they lost a ship in real pvp

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

not really, they were just given gigantic ore holds and gigantic tanks so they could AFK mine to their hearts' content without needing to think

Now why the hell would I want to can mine when a mack can effectively hold more than a full jetcan of ore

Oh do stop whinging Andski.

CCP decided that ganking miners, effectively for free, was not something they wanted to allow.

In null-sec speak, HTFU and deal with it you wretch.

not whining, just saying that miners never got "smarter" since everything was changed so they wouldn't have to play smarter

miners have to be accommodated in such ways, we've come to accept that

It's not like you could just enter warp with your hauler and flip the can back into your cargo just as you entered warp before, making can flipping merely a nuisance.

Nothing of value was lost.

Now you just have to switch your T1 frigate with a Catalyst and do barge flipping instead. At least that has consequences and is more than just a minor annoyance.

I tip the cans and then feed them into a can made by my alt.

Steal that... really, do it. My Talos won't hurt you.

Stealing ore is overrated, C.. it's this quote. Unless it is velds you mined yourself with the veldnaught.. even I'd pay a premium for that velds, knowing where it came from. That's worth stealing.. but only your ore, Chribba.

Ass kissing aside.. loot and blow up. Then fly around and kill the 'White Knight Saviors' of the area that don't know what they doing in their point-less 'pvp' vessels. Get two tears for the price of one. The new system is actually better. And say the white knights are good.. it may be the catalyst (pun intended Oops ) to push them towards more PvP arts and areas of the game when they taste killing a suspect.

New system is win win for both sides of the spectrum.

Try: I decloak and shoot, then get concorded because you didn't actually have suspect timer (because you took from a guy with a suspect timer, which has no consequences :P)
