ahahaha no they won't

basically any current bloc would outnumber them anyway with people whose characters have "max tank, guns, nav and drones" and we'd have a decisive advantage in capitals and supercapitals to begin with

I mean I'm sure the eve equivalent of a peasant revolt is an existential threat to the providence bloc but it isn't to the rest of us because the lords have always had better training, better equipment and better experience than the peasants

So not very well-rounded, then, and shock-full of weaknesses to exploit. Yeah, PvPers do indeed dream of finding such excellent targets. Lol

For people who can only ever think in terms of ISK/h, it sure does.

i dunno but he considers organized mission runners a threat

it's not like it's amazingly distant considering that mission runners are asocial players to begin with, they are risk-averse as hell, they refuse to go under somebody else's command, preferring to "do their own thing" and, most importantly, will refuse to fly what they are asked to fly "because see i could fly a maelstrom with t2 guns and everything but this torp raven here does more dps"

so once somebody manages to get a bunch of mission runners together and convince them to play with other players, accept the inherent risks of pvp, listen to an FC and fly certain ships then they might pose enough of a threat to a small tower somewhere

Fleet coherence and synergy are extremely important to battlefield success.... Just calling for numbers isn't enough... you need to organize them... and organizing most highsec residents is akin to herding cats.

Have you ever attended a live event?
-- You get 5-25 CCP employess...
-- You get 20-200 random, disorganized players showing up and twiddling their thumbs while trying to decide whom to shoot...
-- Then you get a 60 man Nullsec fleet that comes in, destroys everything.. and loots the field.

You're being very unfair now.

Do you have any idea how much ewar a small tower can sport? Now compare that to how much the MRs will be able to bring with their “perfect skills”. P

If nothing else watching them learn about bubble mechanics for the first time could be entertaining. I'd drop a mobile medium 70km on a drag in line with every outgate all the way to VFK and just bomb them to death with 20 guys.

Then why is there so much talk from the big null blocks about NPC corps and high sec industry and yet no action? Highsec has towers all through it and none of them are owned by NPC corps. Highsec industry slots are as available to you as they are to a highsec bear. And highsec mission runners are very susceptible to suicide gankers.

The truth is that you are out numbered and out gunned and impotent to do anything about it.

…and guess who's using all those towers and industry slots?

That's the entire reason why there's so much talk about them: because they should be able to do that in null without it being a completely brain-damaged decision to do so.

We know, we're using them. We'd prefer not to.

Although I'm sure that nuance isn't going to be able to span the chasm of idiocy that permeates your posting.
