Which option is better? (about buying implants)

I want to get some +5 implants, but I don't know which option is better in order to save some ISK:

- Use my LP to buy them in the LP Store.

- Buy them directly to other players using the market and save the LP to make profit selling faction ammo, etc...

- ...

Which option do you recommend me? The LP option seems better, but maybe it's a waste if I use them to get the implants instead of other cool stuff that could give me more profits that the cost of the implants themselves.

It's all about LP-ISK conversion.

as insightful as the first reply is, id say use LP for stuff to sell put whether that is the more worth while I believe is a six and half a dozen situation, which do you believe would be best based on your playstyle

It depends upon the LP store; I don't know where you're missioning for. Where I was running missions, the LP store offered some items that gave a better return on my LP than if I got +5 implants. Just look around at what your store has to offer.

Another thought however - I was just playing around with EVEMon, and I was surprised by this. I did a remap recently and have been planning out the next year of training. My training was mostly centered around my remap, of course, but there were a few outliers. Even with a plan that was originally 278 days long (with my +4 implants), adding +5 implants saved less than 10 days of training time. Since you can buy a full set of +4s for the price of a single +5 implant (or nearly enough), may I suggest going for the set of +4s, unless you KNOW that you will not be podded anytime in the near future?

Another way to think about that is you can have 5 clones across New Eden, all with a full set of +4 implants, for the price of ONE set of +5 implants... Just my opinion, do with it what you will...

ISK is easily replaceable, lost SP/training time isn't.

(and not all of us use specialized remaps and plan a year in advance - e.g. I myself just use max points in Perception, rest in Intelligence and train whatever I feel like training; currently I am training some drone skills and +5 memory on top of a 17 base stat has of course a much higher effect than +5 memory would have on a 27 base stat

If you expect to be podded don't get a full set of implants, only buy the two you need for the skills you are currently training.

that being said I only use +5s in empire)

It may be worth mentioning that converting LP to +5's breaks down to about 525 isk/LP.

If you can find a better item in your shop, get that. In fact, unless you're flying for Caldari or Amarr Navy or for Brutor Tribe, there should always be a better isk -> LP conversion possible in your LP store.

This is also something worth considering. The higher your base stat, the less effect on training time an implant will have (that is, on training TIME. The added SP/hour remain static regardless of how high your stat is)

Ye this is what I do. I'm usually in a pretty expensive clone, but when I head out to ninja some Sleepers or am being sent to nulsec for an escalation I jump into one with +3's (which cost pocket change) and some cheap hardwirings.
