Missions & Complexes

Evening,

Right so I've played eve for quite along time and have abit of knowledge about PVP, I've done a few Lvl 4 Missions in high sec once upon a time, I've also had success in Hubs/Havens/Sanctums but they all seem to be taken lately.

SO.... I tried a Plex called the Serpentis Prison Camp (I think) and was doing so well until the last room! And lost my Armor/AB Ishtar.
Then I tried a Plex called Independence And died horribly in that also.. (was doing ok till the second room!

I came to the summary that I'm dreadful at Plexing and need to learn quickly.

Im currently using a Passive shield ishtar now and fancy trying another plex, I was wondering I have another gallente and a caldari ALT which are of similar age and experience to my main, What ship would you advise to help the ishtar complete a plex..

Also does anyone have any links to a good blog/website about plexing, I know about the survival ones, id just like to learn abit more, Im dying to get a Vindi BPC hehe

Also is there an in-game channel I can join to chat to people about them?
